Every year I regret not playing Donald at the RBC….but every year I look at his stats/form and just see a raging garbage fire so I just can’t click his name. If he pulls off his ridiculous magic again this year, congrats to the course history truthers, but I just can’t do it…so he’s bound to kill it again this year

This year, he has played less, plus, worst form for a long long time. Usually has a decent appearance or two before this…
Guess you never know, I see his WORTH is at 40M, thus, he invested wisely and why this and others are no big deal…

Piss off Whodat then if you want it…

I noticed that our next major is long off, also caught where they positioned the Players Championship. If they were to add it in years to come, That would get them a major every 4 or 5 weeks From Now until august 9th. Think that is part of the reason for the placement. Thinking out front…

Did anyone watch Billions last night ?

    Funny story about Ollie…

He’s a year older than me but we were members at the same golf club growing up north of Atlanta. There was an unwritten rule that anyone who wasn’t the main member on their account, couldn’t play in the Club Championship. Because Ollie was so good and had just committed to Georgia Tech, they allowed him to play. My dad at the time (this was about 8-9 years ago) was one of the best golfers in the club, had won the Club Champ 3 times and Senior Club about 3 weeks before. My dad played one of the best tournaments of his life, shot 2 over over 3 rounds (it was a really tough golf course and can play super long if the wind is up) and Ollie beat him by 12 shots. I was pulling hard for him in the Open a couple years ago so I could say my dad lost to an Open Champion

    The Golf Club of Georgia?

That’s a cool story, thought I would have been pissed about the ringer!

My golf story revolves around playing against Morgan Hoffman in a match in high school

I am still pretty tilted about my DFG Masters Sunday. All I needed to do was have Rory and Fleetwood not completely shit the bed on Sunday and I’m winning money and surviving the the DFG World Cup. Fleetwood’s F-U I-don’t-give-a-crap bogey on 18 is going to stick with me for a long time.

I always thought of Rory as a tough mental competitor. Instead he Leishmanned under pressure. I am so surprised I was so wrong about him.

I was a living on the tilt side a little as well after the masters. Stenson literally cost me 45k with a birdie on his last hole.

Wow, I thought I had it bad when Rickie birdied 18 it cost me $500. Sorry to hear you lost that much due to Stenson

Why does that cut line dancer Kevin Streelman keep popping in my calculations?

Not sure my heart can take the sweat of him again this week.

Short course, narrow tree lined fairways and smallest greens on tour. Driving accuracy, approach accuracy and putting are three key stats.

Give that a listen, minutes 3-6, if you needed another reason to hate Patrick Reed. This on top of the espn article with his dad today who hasn’t spoken to him in 6 years and never been able to meet his 2 grandkids. I will say that villains are great for Golf and That he doesn’t appear to care what you think of him which i prefer over the guys faking nice for the microphones

    $50K Birdie – $3 – 20 entry max – 19.8K entries

    $25K Scramble – $20 – 3 entry max – 1,470 entries

Same top prize. I feel better about beating 1,469 entries than 19K entries for the same top prize and same entry fees. Really surprised the Birdie is not $100K or at least $75K

Scrambling will be key as well due to small greens which will be missed.

I don’t know but I bet somewhere within the next year it comes out… Read his wifes statement about years ago… Maybe it is true, not all parents are good. I would go into my MOM running around with a couple guys for their money after she forced my DAD to leave. By the time I was 10, she didn’t want kids anymore, al l3 of us went with dad. She would then try to reach out as if, Come on down for the summer, I will buy you whatever you want, blah blah…

Anyway, we didn’t go, but later on, she tried again, when adults and would say, well, if your Dad didn’t do this and that, we would have never got a divorce. As if it were his fault that she didn’t want us.
Reeds wife said they were abusinve… I seen a segment on HBO real sports about Prodigies and how parents push so hard, guy yelling at his 10 year old girl… “Oh god amber, how can you miss such an easy putt, you suck” GIrl puts her head down ashamed, then yells back. Abuse, it starts off as making them the best they can be and ends badly… Preaching in the car, “if you dont do better, you are going to make nothing on yourself and be a loser”
Shit, many people dont know how to let go of perfection, pushing for it, thru their kids, living the dream they missed out on…
They get to the point where a fist fight in a parking lot after a jr tournament is NORMAL to the parents…Coming from crap stock myself, I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt. But only if he tells it like it is, let the parents change, or acknowledge their mistakes. Playing up to “the great parent role” doesnt work…

All of this could be 100% wrong, and made up by his wife, so who knows for real. Has to come out, keeping it too private is destroying his reputation. The story in Hawaii doesnt help either… We dont know that story isnt embellished a little, and the owner of the course said, dont worry, go do what you want and never told the club manager, or whoever… I do think he is a little too much “look at me”

Nah, it’s called Bentwater Golf Club. It’s right off 75 about 30 minutes north of downtown Atlanta.

The story is Reed’s parents didn’t want him to marry Justine. So they ran off together and cut ties with his parents.

I’m a Reed fan – he doesn’t really like people and so what – not everybody has to have the personality of Fowler and Mickelson. He lets his clubs do his talking for him. He is a fiery guy with a ton of raw emotion and confidence that unfortunately at times comes off as being cocky and pompous – that’s just a personality trait of some people but also it is a reflection of those who read his confidence as cockiness. Despite owning only 5% this past week, I’m really happy he won.

About the story with his parents, we’ll never know what the truth is and the only ones talking about it are his parents so of course they aren’t going to point the finger at themselves as the problem. A lot of it seems to have to do with them not really liking Justine and not wanting him to rush into marriage (he tied the knot at 22 and she is 4 years older). He was an anti-social kid who fell in love with someone who his parents disliked, he chose her and her family for reasons we’ll never know – so why is he a bad guy ? because the media and his parents say it’s not them ? We don’t know what else was said or done by his parents to her but it must have been severe enough for Justine to get Reed’s parents booted from a tourney. You don’t get to pick your family (ask Sean O’Hair about his dad !) but you do get to pick your wife (sometimes you get to pick a couple of them 😂).
