I built a lineup of the 6 guys I was thinking about playing already before salaries and it came in at 49,600 so that one is getting locked in and not touched at all but I’ll add some more lineups after research

  • ifthethunder

I did some research: Jason Coatrack tied for 16th here last year. Along with Brian Stuard.

Stuard fits the past winner mold here way more than Kokrak but Kokrak has been playing good golf and is more talented overall at this point so could always put it together, but if you look at past winners of this event it’s a who’s who of bunters who hit is short and accurate

Looks like a SG App and who has a hot putter on Bermuda type week. Also CH is not ideal being that guys like Rory, JT, Rahm don’t usually plays this course.

I can already tell my super cheap 6k punt might be Bill Haas

No. He lives in Jacksonville. He played college at East Carolina and I believe he might have grown up around Gastonia NC near Charlotte

  • mr_papageorgio

I think I’ll be jumping right back on the Webb train this week.

That sounds about right. Small greens so you want scrambling and Bermuda grass putting.

Almost all my guys in my current player pool missed the cut last week.. I am sure that is a genius plan.

  • SleDwreckerZ

Just an FYI for everyone who participated against me last week in Beat The Forum.

Apparently, when I set up last weeks H2Hs, I put them in as recurring. I apologize, I did not mean to do that. DK says the only way to “delete” recurring contests is not have them run for 2 consecutive weeks. So… I will not be entering any of my listed H2Hs for 2 weeks so they disappear. Sorry for the confusion.

Wow, that is some variance in the finishing history here for Haas. Either Top 20 or WD/MC.

2 WD’s in the last six does worry me though

He was lights out on approach at Colonial. But he lost like nine strokes on the greens.

He’s probably too cheap here but extremely risky

Last two winners came from South Korea (Pan and Si Woo). Benny An or Sungjae to continue the trend?

In all seriousness, I do like both of them a lot this week.

EDIT: CT Pan isn’t from Korea. I’m Asian myself, I swear I’m not racist!

I’m definitely looking at Pete Dye “specialists” and Kuchar absolutely fits that mold. Bryson does too, but something about his “bomb it and go find it” approach at Colonial has me worried for this week. I know this sounds weird to say given his results last week. I have 5 guys pretty much locked and can fit in Bryson, but I may just go down further and leave some money on the table.

More than likely…it will just be a 2 bullet week for me. One with Bryson and one without.

Did the same thing and gonna stick to my guns, screw the soft salary. 48k … gonna leave the $2k on the table and set it and forget it.
