I’m just sitting drinking some Woodford Reserve, toasting my late father and thanking him for introducing me to this wonderful game.

I’m not even upset my final decision was Mats over Keopka. Just wasn’t meant to be this week.

Congrats to all the winners and all the dads out there.

Nice work Barnhill! Saw Bif lurking in the $200 SE too. My single bullet cashed the milly but was just short in the $200, hate when that happens.

Yup I had a good shot at a Top 3 in the $200 entry but chips didn’t fall my way – b2b mid-round Fitz bogies and an early Kuchar water ball ended up being the difference.

    Jesus Christ.

2nd in the $555 and 3rd in the $100 SE plus all the other lineups is a $60k day for me!

Unreal. Been close in golf before but never this big. Thanks for the support everyone!

Couldn’t even take down the Happy Meal though. This forum is full of animals!

Awesome stuff bud, I settled for $7K but oh what a ride as I toggled from as low as 1600 to as high as $28K before Fitz and Poulter both has B2B bogies.

    Congrats guys.

This week the top three dudes T2G in strokes gained were Sergio, Ancer and Niemman. They should be easy to fit as a core and I know that Niemman and Ancer will be excellent course fits. Bubba will be mad chalk and he is playing well but I may target those other three.

Yeah, I was in 1st for a while even as Simpson and Hatton were in 14 but the rose miss on 18 plus the bad Kuchar finish is what held me back ultimately.

What a ride. I’m glad you had a great day too since you are the top golf mind here.

Such a fun last two weekends of golf. I wish the top 125 OGWR played every single week.

Congrats Barnhill! Also what a lineup by the Milly winner 1/2/3/3/5/7

    It’s actually the perfect lineup!

Congrats to kbarnhill and other winners!

Congrats to you fellas who crushed! Awesome stuff. I was fortunate to have my 5/6’s cash in the $200, and $100 single entry thanks to Webb and Ancer down the stretch there. Looking forward to the next one

  • RudyPujols

Good work, forum. Thought I had my first PGA legit GPP win in the big $3 3-max Rd 4 Showdown when I slid into first with JT, Broogsy, Poston, Ancer, Hatton, and Niemann and more holes than anyone in the Top 10. Then Webb, Berger, and Sergio stole my lunch money with some luck box streak BS. Might’ve fared better in a SE with 396.50. Oh well. Had Webb 30:1 and a big bet on America, too. Grinded out a profit. On to Travelers.

I entered about 10 diff lineups in the satellites including that one.

I probably played 20 of the 5-max quarter one plus all the 20-max $0.25 and $1 ones.

This was a good one – finished 1st and 2nd with diff lineups out of 190 to win 2 Milly tickets for $1.25

    https://www.draftkings.com/contest/gamecenter/87758925

And this $0.25 one where I entered 20 times and won 4 tickets so $80 in tix out for $5 in

Congrats man go do something nice for yourself you earned it.

Well, this will finish paying off all three kids’ college. Used a lot of my live final and other winnings to chip away at college and do a down payment on our new home.

This will finish off college and the third kid is only 1! It’s insane that DFS has been this good to me.

I usually don’t change the RG projections and make my lineups in batches (usually 10) from a core of golfers (example 3 locked asking for 2 different on each lineup or a group of 6 to use exactly 3 at 50% rate…. and so on)
I usually look mostly at course history and form and that was pretty much useless last week and nearly useless this week as the field was so loaded.

With this approach last July I got a second for 50k… that before the last hole was a 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th for $190k+… one of my cores was the nuts.
Last week I flirted with the top 10 for a while

But one year of this approach in PGA is still a small sample.

I don’t play cash. Play GPPs because if I hit the nuts I want to make sure I get paid.
Should play more 3-max and SE tho

Thanks, yeah im a gpp player only usually as well. I do you what do in getting a core. I play 3 to 5 lineups and keep it at 50% exposure on the core unless a guy really pops off in my research then I go 100% if its just a few lineups, Best I ever placed was 12th in the milly I was actually in 4th til the last hole but it taught me a lot.

Agreed but I could do without the birdie fest and the crazy packed leaderboard where every putt was $1K-$4K swing for me. I need a shower as I’ve sweated through my clothes !!

Took an L overall. Best FD finish was 83rd in the lob wedge. Got 80% back in the Mini-max. Reed makes the cut I break even at minimum. I’m thinking 3rd time is the charm and i put it all together next week

Finished near DFL on all of my DK classics but turned $300 into $4,000 on MKF and grabbed a 2nd place in one of the $100 single entry showdowns. One of my best weeks in a while despite the horrible classic picks!

  • RudyPujols

If EatMyTurf or any other Yahoo Free Cup forum grinders are out there, how are they doing this scoring? As best I can figure out, during live scoring they are counting the current event no matter what. Then, on Monday or whatever, they re-calibrate the omission of your 8 lowest scores to include the current event (whereas the live scoring includes the omission of your 8 lowest OTHER THAN the live event and the live event counts for everyone). Does that even make sense? Have you figured it out? I have spiked into 8th for $100 and noticed EatMyTurf slid to 35th from near the top, but I expect things will be different Come Monday…

It is kinda crazy that I nailed 6 T20 finishers, including Webb, and I only finished 119th in the Minimax!

  • RipCityRings

Awesome to see so many people hitting this week, congrats everyone.

Cashed 8/10 in the big $3 20-Max and got 63rd in the Weekend $5 single entry. Just missed on a few Milly tickets but no big loss given the structure lately…

That’s back-to-back profitable weeks for this clueless NBA guy, so keep those picks coming.
