It’s nice to see many winners here.

The guy who won the milly must have nearly had the optimal lineup, with players finishing 1 2 3 3 5 and 7. Beating all other 133k teams by 25+ points is just ridiculous…someone must have given him the leaderboard in advance.

It was the optimal lineup, because Koepka outscored Garcia.

The guy who won only had 3 lineups. $60 in, a milly out!

It’s also surprising that there was no dupe, as the lineup used $49.9K, only had one guy below 10% and was balanced (all between $7.4K and $9K), which is a strategy many people used.

Anyone know if DK is doing outlaw golf again this week?

Yes the Outlaw Tour tweeted that they were – think event starts Tuesday, nothing up yet

  • Cdavis21

Awesome thanks BIF. It’s nice having some filler golf before the pga tourneys

Pretty sick…. Was 3rd in the $12 Albatross with 3 holes to play. Had Niemann, Hatton, faded Webb and Ancer.. Well, you guys know how that turned out.. ended up winning $50……………

That’s encouraging! And Koepka was the only one of them not in my core. Freaking Gary Woodland’s Sunday mishaps (well, and other rounds) is what kept me out of better winnings in my measly contests. Murphy’s law is everywhere in golf.

Question before the next golf tourny. Is there a free PGA “cruncher” out there for max entries? Novice PGA player here who is doing decent with hand mades, want to take it up a notch.

Great job this week fellas, sounds like there were some healthy cashes on Father’s Day for some of ya. One quick question for the forum, is there anywhere that a list of the draftkings scorers from top to bottom in each tournament can be found? I do not post much because I am still learning DFS golf, but appreciate all the insight to be found in this forum. Thanks in advance guys.

I use the DK Live mobile app

Within the App, you click on golf and scores – it lists the DK points by player just not in order as it sorts by their actual golf score. You can download or scrape from it but it has multiple tournies on there as well

Yup, this week is a great example of why I don’t try to outsmart ownership or anything.

Also good example of how the “pros” aren’t really making a living off this thing nor do they have a huge advantage with 150 lineups (other than 150x more chances with 150x the cost). These 150 entries do NOT win the big GPP’s a disproportionate amount of times. 70-80% of the time it’s a single bullet, or 3 bullet, or 20 bullet guy.

I went 6/15 for the beat the forum thing – I put in 30x $1 contests, but was sort of late due to being busy (also missed the big contests which were full by the time I got stuff in 3am Wed night) – so I guess didn’t get many takers for free money.

Saw BIF had a good lineup – not sure if that is what people are talking about here.

Unless your BIF and live in Canada so you get to keep 100% of your winnings. Gotta love the US that even when you win big you still lose.

How does that work for US people who move to Canada? I think you pay Canadian taxes and then the first $X on your income (used to be $80k, but goes up every year and I haven’t looked in a long time). But that is like base income – not sure if this counts externally to that.

oh that is so so so awesome-two years ago I had to write a rather large check to uncle sam it was SO painful -I asked my accountant what we could do and he said nothing :(

If EatMyTurf or any other Yahoo Free Cup forum grinders are out there, how are they doing this scoring? As best I can figure out, during live scoring they are counting the current event no matter what. Then, on Monday or whatever, they re-calibrate the omission of your 8 lowest scores to include the current event (whereas the live scoring includes the omission of your 8 lowest OTHER THAN the live event and the live event counts for everyone).

I agree with your assessment. You need to look at the standings a day after the contest has ended.

5 entries on fanduel streak eligible. My highest score was 459.5. My streak ended. I was perfect until now.

DK results: five entries into milly, got back 30 twice, so 60. Also got a 20 dollar ticket so it went better than I expected it would. 100 in, 80 out.
