So correct me if I am wrong and I am not a golf expert so forgive me…(I hate offending people here) Webb really hasnt won anything right? So he is kind of like a horse that always runs 2nd and 3rd??

So I am thinking this course is good for him right? But what if he is just not playing well..and if he does with all the ownership anything after 5th is no good right???

It is tough for me to bet a guy that is always right there…same with a horse..plus I just think with a lot of these guys shaking off the rust there may be a lot more interesting options.

Im definetly off of Webb on FD. He is still amoung the highest priced ans couple that with high ownership. I’ll pass.

Morikawa’s 21 streak to begin his PGA career is amazing.

Also, DK has a promo. Enter milly 5 times, get $20 ticket if JT makes the cut.

Rick Run Good – Rick Gehman who I really enjoy his golf website and content compares this course to Pebble Beach so maybe that helps with handicapping.

Well, that makes the Wizard even more of a super sleeper this week.

  • XxHeisenbergxX

Thanks for all the input guys on Webb…I saw that he won a few months back but then didn’t really see anything until 2018..I guess I compare him a lot to Hidecki where his price and popularity in my head make them a bad play…(not a bad play but you know what I mean) I am always trying to find that hidden long shot that’s why my lineups are always hit or miss I never have a really in between week. However I am still learning how to play and lineup construction. Last week was a disaster.

    Do we play sneds here?

Does anyone have any info of why he mysteriously was supposed to play last week but didn’t?

Is anyone worried about course history? Aren’t there more top 50 golfers this year at this tournament than normally?

That’s because it’s usually right after the Masters.

44% of the prizepool goes to 1st. I dont care what promo they are running, you either have no problem burning money or are just stupid if you enter that contest.

I just refuse to understanding DK logic in contest sizing!!! Did we have trouble filling things last week? NO!!! Then why reduce pools? Oh well same topic a different day.

  • BrianVT

I love it when my data confirms that SG Putting rank prior to the tournament is not a factor, as there’s so much variance in putting anyhow. This leaves it wide open to anyone who shows up and decides to putt outside of their norm (Benny An). Unfortunately, SGT2G is standing at as the most important, which always feels like the cop-out stat to use. Next is GIR, though.

Perfect size for me would be like a $33-$44 entry with like 5k-8k entrants and a balanced payout structure…so easy to figure out what people want yet they botch the shit out of it, have everything fill up so fast, then just offer same contests with less and less entrants/prize$ which of course fill up as well…morons

  • ifthethunder

DK pricing for the Outlaw Tour is a lot tougher than for Harbour Town. Tom Lehman 8,000?

I would “understand” if we actually had sports but this is it!!! Things fill up, this isn’t FD DFS golf lol

Nobody wants your 3-100th gen contests!!!

My take on Webb by the way is he is a consistent guy you can plug in but so will everyone else.

Now, Activate your sarcasm and suspend belief. This is just me making fun of ME and people like me who cant leave well enough alone and stick to their 1st impression. And an experiment on whether going with your gut and or initial research is better than tinkering. I have tinkered my way into cash but more often than not if I just stuck to my initial stuff I would be up a considerable amount more.

    No Tinker Log 1

I thought things would be easy. Just get off the board and sit til lock. But no, immediately upon waking I hear whispers in my head that I should really consider List. I mean cmon he’s just 7200 on DK. Make it happen, you know you want to. Someone mentioned him, wouldnt it suck to be off him and he goes off for a top 5 finish? Do it.

I go to my screen and plug him in and sure enough I can make a lineup that looks great with him in it BUT I have to take out a guy I think will be a low owned sleeper who actually has a shot to place high if he gets it together. Must……………resist………the urge. Beads of sweat dot my forehead, “but what if this is the change that takes me over the top?”. A vision of evil darkside kermit pops in my head. DO IT. I click cancel. Successfully fighting the urge this time. Gonna be a long road to thursday. Just gotta not look at BIF’s takes or BrianVT. Oh, wait I actually should since they are jedi masters of golf. You can do this…..or can you?

Haha I was just getting ready to mention him.

Last time we saw him he put up a -2 at the PLAYERS round one. He seems too cheap and definitely worth a flier or two.

Easy to miss when I don’t win any tickets. Also that is the absolute WORST contest with that structure. It still made rake and every other “featured” contest filled.

Sorry I missed the “BIG” one. I just hate them lowering already smaller “cheap” contests.

  • mh8235

It seemed like last week there were very few if any blow-up holes, everyone pretty much got after it and there wasn’t any danger looming which is why doubles/triples were few and far between…

Looking at last year, a bunch of guys had some major blow-ups here with the water/dirt outlines, and maybe that’s something to take into consideration with more hot headed blow-up prone guys (aka Rahm lol)

Kinda hate these courses because literally one slip up on one hole and that promising pick turns into a MC ruining your entire week

Have they adjusted the lines on them since initial posting? I don’t have DK Sportsbook.

I am all over Rory this week (not the Irish one), but he seems to be getting very little love so far from the “experts”. I guess I should be happy about that, but it’s a little concerning. Am I missing something?

I read somewhere that thanks to the hot weather and tree height, the bombers were able to go over the trees and cut some doglegs. But here, they have to play the way Pete Dye wants them to (position off the tee for your approach shots) because the trees are much higher.
