Does he get to resume at that spot tomorrow?

Yup players just mark their balls and return to that spot when they resume.

    What is the 6/6 %

About 7-8% right now – should not change much

0% chance they are cancelling the tournament.

If one guy tests positive there may be more..

  • cardriverx93

If they finish the round today, Fitzpatrick gets to T1st place (needs to birdie his last 3 holes) and THEN the tournament is cancelled, the player named ‘jmwagner’ (who looks like he only submitted one entry) will win the millionaire maker with a player that finished 1 over par !! (Rafa)

That would be funny. Even if he stays in 3rd where he is now he would ship $50k if tournament cancelled vs likely $30 if it plays through the weekend. What a sweat.

Thanks – my main guys are Webb, Fitz, Rose, Kooch, Hatton, Poston and Poulter (all of those are pretty heavy on the 6/6s with a little DJ, Conners, JT mixed in)

I’ll sprinkle them in my weekend/showdown lineups!

  • hbomb57

Bad week for me no 6/6 or 5/6 seem to be able to sprinkle in all of the losers in different LU’s and my MKF bets all went 4/5 with Spieth being the killer today. Oh well on to next week. Hope someone hear kills it this weekend.

Watney played with Luke List and Vaughn Taylor on Thursday. Taylor made the cut but List won’t. There’s no way that they will test positive based on exposure the previous day even if they caught it (takes something like 5-7 days) and Taylor probably wouldn’t become contagious through Sunday. I think.

I don’t think they’ll cancel based on one positive test. But it is worrying… . If this snowballs, they might just start cancelling tournaments again. I don’t think they are willing to accept much risk. Well, most of the players might be, but not the PGA Tour.

Edit: I forgot about practice rounds. And I have no idea if the players are physically distancing themselves in the clubhouse, etc.

  • Southie777

Ahhhhh, been updating DK constantly on my way home from work and no change. That explains it, goddamn delay! I really need to fall asleep and forget to set my lineups more often! Up to 718th out of 17000 in the Resurgence with 5 holes left between Harman and Hatton. Had I used Conners, I legit may have taken it down. But I’m gonna run out holes now. Oh well, can’t complain!

Let’s hope this doesn’t happen, but let’s say List then goes home, tests positive in three days. We can infer he got it from Nick Watney. But then who did he contact in the last three days? People on the course. Certainly his caddy. Family members? Other people? Did he spend any time in the clubhouse? They could have Covid. Then those people spend time with other people. Etc. etc. etc.

Now let’s say your Luke List’s personal chef. Luke List got it from Nick Watney. Let’s say the personal chef tests positive. He got it from Luke List. But that wasn’t supposed to happen – the PGA said it was safe. So how much do you sue the PGA for? How much do you settle for? Because if there was no tournament, Luke List’s personal chef probably wouldn’t have Covid.

Multiply that by the list of potential cases.

Someone must not be doing too well with their entries lmao… relax.

I’m so freaking annoyed right now. All I can think about is how profitable my day could have been if Spieth had even a semi-respectable day with the putter. The only way I can stop dwelling on it is by getting round 3 bets in. MKF won’t credit my account with the money I did win and I’m wondering if they will even post day 3 contests (with day 2 still incomplete).

I still have bad vibes about the Players being cancelled when my MKF bets were killing it.

Screw COVID! Screw lightning! Screw Jordan Spieth!

I’m doing quite well at the moment, thanks for asking. Like everyone else, I don’t know what (if anything) the PGA Tour is doing about it. I do have my doubts that they “have it all under control” and I bet secretly there are people on the PGA Tour that are s—-ting bricks right now.

  • Steverino01

They talked to Rory and Poulter on the golf channel and they said everyone expected someone to get the coronavirus eventually. They didn’t think there would be a problem with finishing the tourney this week.

Such a conundrum to be in where you know you should be multi-entering…but whenever you do it takes the fun out of following it. There’s just something so fun about following ONLY your 6 guys scores. Maybe it’s smarter to MME and just not follow?

You mean I’m getting some advantage out of being so terrible at this that I’d never be tempted to multi-enter?

That said, my single DK bullet looks like it’ll be 6/6. First time all year. Not a good 6/6 to be sure, but I’ll take anything.

You dont start spreading the virus immediately after coming in contact with someone who has it. Anyone who has come in contact with Nick may be required to quarantine. That’s why testing and contact tracing is so important. You can find the Virus before it has time to spread

Kisner missing multiple 4 footers to miss the cut on the number and kill numerous 6/6 makes me want to stab those bird eyes with a tee. Unless we get a COVID cancellation to make it moot.

Looks like I have 3 lineups that could have a chance I think, but this is the first time I might actually have some 6/6 lineups (only my 2nd time playing):

    1) Webb -12, Fitz -9, Ancer -9, Finau -8, Kuchar -6, and Woodland -5;
    2) Webb -12, Fitz -9, Ancer -9, Kuchar -6, Poston -6, and Rose -5;
    3) Webb -12, Fitz -9, Ancer -9, Kuchar -6, Hatton -5, and Woodland -5.

In my $200 SE line man I could have had a sweat as currently 58th but that is 5/6 with: Webb -12, Fitz -9, Poulter -9, Ancer -9, Hatton -5 and Mats +2 (damn it!)

Since I don’t know how these tourneys tend to play out, and assuming they actually keep playing, what do you guys think? I Have the 3 lines mentioned above entered in the milly and all the 20-entry max contests and a few 3-entry max contests.

I feel like it’s safe to talk about my lineup without jinxing it.

In the $555, $100 SE and the Happy Meal.

    Webb -12
Fitzmagic -9 (still with 4 holes left)
    Poulter -9
    Kuchar -6
    Rose -5
Hatton -5 (still with 2 holes left)

41st in the $555 and there will be like 60 6/6 total in that contest. Also 3rd in the Happy Meal.

    Psyched for the weekend!
