Fleetwood -3 today but I don’t see him making the cut still

Make that -4 in a row. Only 3 off the cutline with 2 par 5s left.

  • jdubadubs

Random stat: 6 holes today are playing within 0.01 shots of even par. That means all of those are within 1 cumulative stroke from all golfers today of being exactly even par. 3,6,10,11,12,16

DJ does not give two shits about this tournament. 5 guys -4 or better and he’s going to MC.
    COOL

Stewart Cink. Now, there’s a guy that’s always at the top of the leaderboard. (pause, not)

He’s had a great year – he won, finished 4th and just finished Top 20 at Honda and then 12th at Augusta. He’s my highest owned sub-$7000 guy by far.

He also has won this RBC Heritage tournament twice before – he has history, form and the perfect type of ball striking non-bomber game that does well here.

My best fantasy scoring lineup has Fleetwood but not holding out hope as both Cantlay and Casey already tickled my balls then trunk slammed…,

Depends how far back you want go. He’s missed cut 3 of his last 6 outings and no top 10 in the other 3. I was on him during his run last year, but haven’t seen much lately.

He also missed cut 3 of last 5 in this tourney.

I have a feeling maxie is about to do the same thing to my SE, and by the looks of it, no 6/6, no cash.

    I read this on Betfair.

(I swear I don’t work for them, I just love that they put out form/course history sheets I can cut and paste. Also, I’m doing EPL Ironman on DK, and I’d have no idea what to do with English footie without them.)

Anywho: “As for that idea of not touching someone with a bargepole the week after a major, Cink reminds us that each case must be judged on its own merit.”

This lead me to putting him in one showdown round 1, but it was too late and I was headed towards sleep to adjust any of my 20 classics.

Birdie on 18 as well, going to the easy front nine.

I hear ya. A case can be made for or against just about any golfer because they can hit a strong or weak point in their form at any given time. How many rounds/weeks/months do you need to spot a pattern? I don’t know. It’s what keeps this stuff interesting and fun, though. Where to zig, zag, or jump on board…

I get that but he has totally re-found his game not unlike Brendan Todd about 2 years ago – though Todd never peaked in the past quite like Cink had with a Major and multiple wins.

I’ve been following him more this 20-21 season since Kip caddied for him starting in the fall and stayed following him since his kid took over from Kip.

I read that article and another one that said that guys who made the cut at Augusta have kept the momentum here and those that failed at Augusta last week, have struggled here in B2B weeks.

Hence I played lots of Will, Cink and a decent amount of Conners – I didn’t play enough Cam but the DJ and Garcia fades look great

You must be underweight some of the Top 5 – especially Cink and Conners

    Zero Cink, plenty of Connors
