OMG, I just counted my 6/6’s 30 of 86. Not one of them cashing. I do have a 5/6 cashing…..1 of 86. Thats a good week in progress

Sergio missed the cut by 3 shots – it’s not like he lipped out a 23-incher on 18

He somehow found water on a Par 5 that basically had none, then rather than play conservative at -1 he freaking hunts the flag at the most dangerous hole on the course. It was a 5/6th Keegan but he wasn’t overwhelmed, just colossally stupid

  • lfn1992

Admittedly, though, the Fleetwood beat was a very tough one. I’ve been there

  • Logan7777

SE. 5/6. Conners, Fitz, Will,Thompson, Ian. And Poston. All cashing. Not enough to be worth anything Sunday. 11th HM but that will swirl down the drain come the 19th hole.

OK, so I have a lineup in 52nd place in the big $15 contest on DK. As most of you know I complain that my golfers always suck on the weekends. I personally think 52nd place is way to high after round 2, but maybe, just maybe, this one time they will all kick ass the next two days. Good luck everyone this weekend.

    Cink -16
    Grillo -10
    Smith -9
    IM -9
    Hatton -3
    Todd -2

Yah the one double was bad on the par 5 but he made 2 others so his failed was sealed early unlike Casey, Cantlay and then Tommy who all teased me with comebacks only to fall short. Garcia was only -3 yesterday so with a -2 cut, he still has to play decent; it wasn’t like he had the comfort of Cam or Harman where they could afford a poor round.

You had some nice lineups in the min-max until Poulter forgot how to make a birdie – still lots of 6/6 for the weekend. Good luck.

Luke List is the odd man out. No playing partner for tomorrow. Hopefully they give him a marker.

I nominate Smylie Kauffman. But really, I’m considering list in showdown going out first solo, didn’t consider a marker. Don’t they normally just go out alone? I’m sure BIF knows how that works?

70% on Smith, Connors, Fitz, Grillo going good and all in the money, some 6/6’s that could pop.

At some tournies, Players are usually given a choice if they want a “marker” or if they want to play alone. Though I don’t think it is very common at regular events and most guys go off alone – at least I never hear about it unless a sponsor has some relative who is a great golfer and tries to throw them a bone on Sat/Sun morning.

The Masters has made this famous as the guy that has been in this role (Jeff Knox) is an Augusta member, multiple club champion and former State Am winner (he also beat Rory once and has been called by a few players to play practice rounds and show them around Augusta) – I believe you are basically “forced” to say yes to the offer of a marker on The Masters. However I did hear that they now have someone newer and younger at Augusta to step Into that role as Knox is getting too old to keep up with the Tour players.

My other 6/6 is almost 100 points behind in 13,238th place:

    Zalatoris -7
    Fitz -7
    Ancer -7
    Thompson -7
    Kirk -5
    NeSmith -2

I hope you have some Cink in there. I’m trying to convince myself it’s possible to do some things without him, but even if he somehow managed to finish outside of t10, he’s probably still optimal

Yeah, I was thinking only at majors for some reason. I remember some hefty fella recently being a marker, maybe at the us open or pga championship. I wanna say he was the general manager at the course or something like that 🤷🏻‍♂️

No but Rose looked pretty daunting on Friday last week so we shall see.

  • BIF

I can’t believe Cink has 30 more FP than the next best guy (100.5 to Conners 70.5 and Grillo 70).

    That’s a huge difference

  • noddy

No Cink or Conners for me in SD tomorrow.

I would take the field against him sure. But he shoots 73 73 and he’s still probably in the winning lineup. Need an epic meltdown

not as big as you think.
Cink 70.5 Fpts (without finishing bonus points)
    Bryan 58 Fpts(without ….)
    Grillo 52
    C Smith 51
tied with 50.5 Conners and Im

Heres what I am thinking. I believe Cink will still play good golf. I vote for ARU70 bonus points. but if it plays Sat and Sun like it did today, lots of 64’s and 65’s out their. Cink doesnt need to breakdown, but 2 days of playing against a 64 is different.

  • noddy

I didn’t realize Cink has won here twice

  • noddy

Cink/Conners -113 vs the field seems like a good bet to me.
