I wasn’t going to play anyone under 7,100. But Patton Kizzire’s DK round one bump to 7,300 made me dip my toe in. 2 of 20.

Good Thursday morning & YAY GOLF

I’m still feeling a Masters hangover, still the best week in golf hands down.

Finally starting to have some history in my files, pulled up my entries for 19 & 20, wow barely playing anyone from those past tournies. Yes, DJ was 8500, had to look it up myself. In an episode of “where are they now” had Jonas Blixt & my man Bud Cauley in 2019, and who could forget Alex Cejka. Oh well, time to move on!

Up top went heavy Morikowa, Simpson & Fitzpatrick.
In the middle is my pick to win ….C Hoffman, I feel dirty. Like Chris Kirk a lot here as well.
Sleepers are Putnam, Wise & Streelman

Betting that this week the cream rises to the top and not a lot scrubs make the cut.

Thursday morning mens league golf today, so will be ruining my game by pulling out my phone and checking scores, man I should just leave the phone in the car. Excited to get out, have been working with a swing coach and we are completely changing my swing, so I can transition in to older guy golf thats easy on the body. Been hitting about 300 balls a week and going through gloves like fire. Our local range installed Top Tracer and that is really cool.

Good Luck this week Y’all, we will need it.

Lucas Glover joins the party. I had him and J.T. Poston about even until I saw the tee times. Favorable AM/PM wave for Glover made me go heavier on him. (But I still have J.T. in some, too.)

I have both as well. they are in separate line-ups so they don’t cross contaminate…WOW..watching on PGA tour live and Grace’s caddy was rolling his eyes at some of his iron shots off the driving range

nasty lip out for Ghim’s par at 1

I put in way to much Berger because of the supposed advantage of the AM wave..also heavy with Streelman

I watched him on putting green yesterday. At one point, his caddy or coach or whoever the hell he was (walking around smoking cigarette and picking up balls) left and came back with a yellow box, cut it open, and pulled out a brand new Scotty Cameron putter. I even heard Danny Lee like “why is it in a box?” Anyhow, he proceeded to go back and forth between his old putter and this new putter.

Interestingly enough, I also so Ian Poulter messing with two different putters on the green, although they looked the same. Saw him holding them up like a gun looking down the barrel trying to see if they were straight.

Anyhow, I thought putters were one of those things you’ve kind of figured out already and stick with one that works, but maybe that’s pretty common to keep trying out new ones? Last minute changes on a putter sounds a little scary.

Yikes, I don’t love the sound of that. I have Branden in a couple. A guess that some nice recent results of his showed that his game is back.

Bill Haas is apparently NOT going to par his way around this course today.
