I am the type of person that thinks when my team is down 40 at the 2 minute warning we still have a chance, but I am starting to accept the reality of the situation as the clock is about to hit zero. Without ranting and crying, this is an underrated awful for the DFS industry and everyone just lets it pass by…. smh

  • Rosterdamus

Who is Jeremy? Their IT guy?

Lol u either live in Indiana or you’re more plugged in than me. Just looked on their depth chart and I never heard anything about “Richard Lagow” if that’s who is in fact starting.

This week I googled an Indiana / FIU preview and an article about how great Lagow has been came up. He was $4000 so I used him with Hayden Moore and Jax.. originally I was just going to use Jax and Moore but for 4000 I used him in probably 25% of my LU’s. Not having Cobbs hurts but he still has Paige and Ricky Jones who are great. He doesn’t look very good, and FUI pass D is terrible.

He just threw a nice pass to Westbrook.. who is in for Cobbs .

  • Rosterdamus

I almost did a lineup with Josh Dobbs til Paul Finebaum said he’d probably only play 2.5 quarters.

  • Rosterdamus

I go hard chalk in these situations where I know a lot of people will have very limited info.

  • nickrock23

I used too much Owens and Cobbs obviously. Otherwise my picks should be good. Nate Cole I used in every LU as well. He was like $2600, meanwhile he’s the #1 WR in a pass happy offense. But I wish I knew what kind of LU’s I was going against in all these contests. Really disappointing but hopefully they fix the issue soon

  • Rosterdamus

I really wish I had got into a 100 person that filled. I did a single lineup and it had Jackson, Dayes, Radcliffe, Samuels, Bonafon all of whom have scored already, plus Hurd, Cherry, and Breaux, I think that’s everybody.

  • nickrock23

I don’t think Cortez Lewis is playing either, he’s all-ACC pick and WFU’s best WR…Used him in alot. Weird night so far

  • Rosterdamus

Oh and Staples who looks to be the one cardinal who hasn’t caught a TD but he’s got 2 catches for 50. Also Samuels didn’t score yet but he has a touchdown worth of yards.

  • nickrock23

Jax will probably only play 1st half which also scared me. Cincy is losing to UT Martin at half. Cole has a TD but not a good showing. I’ll need huge games from Cole and Joe Williams to have a chance to come out ahead. I would guess anyway… can’t even see what I’m up against.

I stayed away from Tenn for the most part. Used Kamara and Hurd each in 1. App is tough as hell defensively.

  • Rosterdamus

Oh I hate the name Cortez because I got a tip Cortez Edwards was going to have a big basketball game last year and I think he ended up only being on the floor like 2 minutes. So no cortezes for me.

  • Rosterdamus

Yes other than not starting, sitting with a lead was my next biggest concern for big chalk.

  • Rosterdamus

Oh thats funny Jaylen Samuels scored right after I mistakenly said he did. Idk if it was a premonition or inevitability.

  • eKing

It does not matter if I wanted to change any of my players, site killed any hopes of a late swap lol. I will not complain, games vs small schools threw me off anyways. Mistakes were made and I will be more prepared Saturday. I hope fanpicks is more prepared too.

  • nickrock23

Was Utah State on this slate?

Hey guys just heads up Fanpicks is having some tech issues but they are aware of it and trying to fix per Jeremy.

No kidding. I knew this site was a joke. Next year I bet NCAA will be back on the big sites

  • Dadeano860

Holy Lamar Jackson! Not a bad half!

  • Rosterdamus

Does anyone even know any ownership % yet?

  • Dadeano860

Cincy refuses to use Boone as the #1 RB, ridiculous.

Along those lines, I sent this heartfelt venting to FanDuel earlier today. Still waiting for a response.

For the last two years, my favorite hobby was playing DFS college football. I am at a loss as to why FanDuel is no longer offering college football.

When FanDuel and DraftKings made that horrific announcement back in March that college football dfs “would be suspended indefinitely”, I, as well as all of my CFB playing brethren, were disgusted. But I figured that “suspended”, does not mean “discontinuing”, and the optimist in me figured that the announcement five months before the season starts, is far different than not offering CFB come September. Needless to say, I am disgusted even more that the suspension of CFB has not been lifted.

The NCAA has no legal grounds to attack CFB DFS. Indeed, as long as sports betting on CFB is allowed, it represents the height of hypocrisy. Instead of meekly sniveling to irrational, bullying concerns about the “integrity of college athletics”, why didn’t you stand and fight for your loyal CFB players with logic, reasoning, and courage. Is it really the position of the wickedly corrupt NCAA, or misguided politicians, that a bunch of us getting together and testing our skill at projecting player performance, and risking our funds at CFB DFS, is somehow exploiting these “young athletes”, but when 20 year old Ben Simmons plays for the 76ers, all of a sudden, he is not exploited?

I used CFB DFS to earn supplemental income the last two years. It was my best sport with the least amount of variance, unlike these pathetic MLB stacks that get shut out by gas can pitchers. It got me to the Playboy Mansion, an absolutely wonderful event that I will treasure forever.

I am very angry and bitter about the absence of CFB on FanDuel. You can tell your contacts at the NCAA, that CFB is now dead to me, as well as many of us, without DFS. And I would religiously watch CFB for hours on end, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, plus MACaction and all bowl games. Also, a small company, FanPicks, offering CFB DFS, so if they can do it, why can’t FanDuel?

What is the company’s ultimate gameplan for CFB? Does the company plan to sell us all out to appease misguided politicians and an out-of-control arrogant NCAA? What happened to the bold vibrant company that set up Friday Night PAC12 only contests in response to their idiotic commissioner’s whiny objection to DFS? Please let me know if there is a gameplan and timetable in place for the return of CFB DFS, or if it is truly gone forever. Thank you in advance.

  • Rosterdamus

idk didn’t look for utah state, that game didn’t meet my vegas cutoff.

  • nickrock23

I finally got to see another LU i am goin against, first one I clicked the guy started Gunner Kiel… Moore was named the starter like a week ago. So maybe I do have a chance??

Well said, I thought for sure it would be back after a brief “suspension.” FD and DK just don’t make enough revenue on NCAA contests to risk even anything, knowing what thin ice they are on with legislators and legally.

I certainly understand the political realities that they are facing. I remember writing to them back after the decision was first announced, and they assured me that this was not a “political” decision. It just blows my mind that logic and reason lose out to irrational fear. Why would they be on thin ice with legislators and legally? What is the reasoning behind the anti-DFS legislators’ position? A certain percentage of their constituents like to get together and test their skills and money against each other based upon the performance of college football players. Nobody is hurt.

  • Rosterdamus

The problem is legislators want a cut but don’t want the bad PR when a reporter asks how their state is comfortable making money off of kids risking their health and not being paid themselves. So I think it was just expedient to cut CFB out to take the money and avoid the mess.

Solid observation, but that is no justification, because the state has already been making money off these kids through taxes, among other things.
