Come on now Wolff! Give me an eagle so that I have some hope at least!

I feel the same as the couple of times I played Norman Xiong thinking he was a legit young golf phenom.

Moore plays the last 2 in -2. Nicely done!

Nice to see DJ get it back to -1 as well. Made some long birdies his last 2 holes.

    Sung Kang disappointing today

He was rolling today until he decided to 4 putt from 10’4”. A quick way to end a solid -3 start.

  • dbullsfan

Doc birdieing 5 of his last 7

Hopefully he gets it together tomorrow and makes the cut

So the way I see it is there is nobody playing pro golf at the highest level that gives a shit. Not like tiger…who I can’t stand that just wanted to win everything! There is just too much money now and you can play for years and win 35 million dollars and that’s not even the endorsement money. So play good or play bad it’s all money…so I think we may be seeing these scrub guys really going for it. Like Sucher last week $600k is the world…DJ $600k nothing. Phil and the $100 bill “I made 90,000 of these last week”. Just Saying. Woodland should not even be playing his head is not here.

Yep he’s my good surprise of the day! I’d be 6/6 if it wasn’t for damn Wolff!

Go even further with this. There are only 6 events left to get into the top 125 to play in the Northern Trust.

Sucher specifically is sitting at 126 after last week. Talk about now having an opportunity. All because of a sponsor’s exemption last week.

    F yeah!
Let’s hope he can keep this rolling tomorrow!

I’ve got 1 possible 6/6 currently with him in it… though nobody is near the top in that LU and not scoring that well due to position, no eagles, etc.:

    Reed -4
    Horschel -3
    Im -3
    Streelman -6
    An -4
    Redman -4

Crazy to think that that kind of score after day 1 doesn’t put you at the top of every contest! The good thing is that there are always huge swings after day 1, and this week it will be even more huge. A lineup could be in the bottom 10% now and win a large GPP after day 4.

  • miggs6876

    My lu is :
    Rory -7
    Reavie -7
    Ricky -4
    Tway 4
    Traingle -4
    Hovland -2

After tomorrows round I am pretty sure I’ll be disappointed.

I edited my post, but, I agree!
Due to position points and 0 eagles somehow, a possible 6/6 isn’t even that close to the cash line in GPP’s.

Hopefully tomorrow my guys keep heading in the right direction and all make the cut. I haven’t had a 6/6 in what feels like forever (the other week doesn’t count where 6/6 was 60%+ in GPP’s). Some eagles tomorrow would be great too, but I’d be happy with a 6/6.

My Sucher lineup looks dead though sadly.
    Sabbatini -7, Nasty Yams -4, Malnati -4, Billy Ho -3, V. Taylor -2 and…. Sucher +2 Booooooo

    Gooch -7
    Clark -4

    streelman -6
    kisner -6
    hovland and v taylor -2

really hope those two can pick it up tomorrow

  • al0e_neill

Too early to chalk up the results from this tourney to be just as useless as the info we had prior to tee off?

  • al0e_neill

Btw where is dewoc this week? Dude would probably be 101% tilt right now

  • nicholasmarsh

Fell victim to Shot Tracker on the KSDT earlier. Most of those where two putts and he’s -3. Right at the current cutline. Regardless, he sucked at putting. My bad

  • Sean2219

    Mats -4
    Kisner -6
    Im-3
    Nieman -4
    Sabs -7
    D. Lee -6

Need Sungeeesus to play back like he did the front today..

I went with my thoughts on Wes Homan after BIF brought him up. Looked into him and his life best I could find on Google. I’m happy he’s playing decent as I single entered this week. Question for Showdown R2… Which golfer do you pick from his group tomorrow if you want a $6,100 or $6,000 spot so you can load up the remaining spots. Homan -1, JJ Rod -2, or Wright -7? I’m sticking with Homan and his AM tee time.

  • NoLimits0

Do you guys ever realize that even good players can play badly from time to time? I mean if DJ really didn’t give a crap, why would he even try to birdie the last 2 holes? Why did he even play this tourney? Maybe he just had a bad day not that he didn’t try. Even MJ had bad days.

No Tiger was just that much better than everyone else. No one in today’s golf is that good. Tiger has had like 3 back surgeries and knee surgeries and he can still win the Masters. That’s just how good he is. DJ didn’t have a bad day today because “he didn’t try”. He had a bad day cause he’s just not that good enough to be dominant every day. I’m sure he’s trying. He won St Jude’s last year in weak field. He was leading RBC this year after 3 rounds and choked. What did he just start “stop trying” after being the R3 leader? No he’s just not that dominant like 2000s Tiger.
