Sick of this finishing 3rd for satty tickets on final round showdown. Dammit!!

Congrats Dunzor and other winners through!

  • ajwert

Lashley turned out pretty well for me in showdown. Finished 76th in the big $5 contest with lashley, neimann, redman, roach, Snedeker, and Reed. Also played some cash and sattys with the same lineup. $21 in, $83 out plus another millionaire ticket. $31 in, $75 out in classic with a millionaire ticket there as well. I think I’m up to 7 millionaire tickets now, which is good for a low stakes player like me

Nicely done! And good luck with your tickets, I’m a big fan of people moving up their stakes through satty tickets

What are some good low-$ satellites?

There’s always some $0.10 and $0.25 cent milly maker ones that pay out usually two tickets each. Then you can find $1 / $3 milly ones that pay out five, ten, or like a hundred tickets. I also like the $6 satty to the $555, the $3&$8 ones that can win you a $260 FGWC qualifier ticker (that’s what I won off a $3 one last week and used this week to win an actual FGWC seat)

  • timusbr

payout – If 5 and under entries Winner takes all. 6-9 entries 75% to winner 25% to second. more than 10 entries 60% to winner, 25% to second and 15% to third.

    Final standings Rocket Mortgage 20for20
    6 entered so 90/30

Winnings are paid out. gonna do it ONE more time for 3M, If you guys want in, send the paypal.

The $.10 and $.25 seem like a prayer to win though.
Maybe the $1 and $3 are worth looking closer at.

Congrats again on the big win!! That’s huge!

  • DayThugginFOURlife

Odd by I had the ball rolling with two teams having 4/6 players making the cut. Showdown finally found billy ho made me some cash

  • DaBum2012

    • 2018 FanDuel WFBC Finalist

My highest was 545 with 5/6 which was a switch.

  • mattspot10

Congrats on the big win Dunzor and all of the other winners this week!

Welp I nailed this pretty well.

    Winner: Niemann T5 -17
    Fade: Fowler T45 -9
    Sleeper: Redman 2nd -19
    ——————————————————
I can’t believe the wild ride I had this weekend to lock up my first ever FGWC seat, with a 5/6 no less. Thought for sure I was going to be kicking myself forever for playing Sucher in that last slot but I can forgive myself now. Last week turned $3 into the $260 qualifier ticket and turned that into a seat worth $6500!!

    Overall for the week:
    In: $150 cash & $260 ticket ——> Out: $600 cash / 10 Milly tickets / 1 FGWC seat ($6500 value)!

    Outstanding and congrats!!

I’ve won both of my upcoming Fantasy Golf Millionaire $20 tix by playing the $3 satellites as it was the top 500 got one among just under 4k entrants.

I’m a low roller so it seemed like the best odds.

For the guys that play the $5 entry with multiple lineups but do not play things like the $15 Mayo or the $44 entry, here is something to consider:

The guy who won the $44 entry Club Twirl won $100K; he entered the same lineup in the $5 Entry and won only $500 with it.

He got almost 2300x in the Twirl with almost a nut lineup and only 100x in the $5. It’s pretty hard to hit the stone nuts in the $5 to win even 4 figures never mind 5 or 6 figures where you usually don’t need the nuts to win the $44.

As an aside, He also played the $15 entry Pat Mayo and finished 2nd for $3K or 200x.

Overall, he spent only $116 and won over $104K and only played $3 lineups in the $5 entry, same 3 LUs in the $15 Mayo and picked the right single bullet in the $44 entry and threw it in a couple podcast listener league GPPs.

I was just looking at next week. TPC Twin Cities hosted the champion tours 3M open and in a 3 day contest Kenny Perry won by 3 strokes at -21 under par.

I’ve played there – unless the wind is whipping, it will likely be a birdie fest again but maybe a shot tougher per round overall than this week.

This week sucked as I basically played blind not knowing much about the course besides what everyone else read. Think I’m gonna tread lighter this week as it’s almost the same situation and I’m in a 3-day tourney this week which will eat up much of my research time.

    Dunzor

  • sfguy21

Took an absolute wash this week after a couple solid weeks this past month. $87 in and $17 out with a single Milly ticket. Now need to decide if the process needs to be tweaked, or if this was just a bad week.

Congrats Dunzor and all others that took home wins.

I finished with 583.50 and after billy ho went nuts Sunday morning I thought I really had a good chance to make great money. After round 2 I was up 1483 after round 3 was up 2421, then Charles Howell,Kokrak and malanalti forgot how to play golf on Sunday. The threesome shot plus 3 combined. Nieman and sabs played good all in all it was good won 649 bucks. When the last 5 tee off Sunday I was up 4216 was thinking on boy here we come. The golf gods said nope. Onto next week.

  • mason3132

BiF what did he score with that lineup. I have been thinking long and hard about exactly what your saying. I will usually do 8 to 10 lineups in the 5 dollar and usually barely win anything. I might as well play the 33 and the 44 limit the line ups. I just the thought of the 100k for 5 bucks.lol

  • CJtheGrump

One 6/6 for me, but unfortunately, they all decided to play par golf in the middle of a birdie fest for the final round. That was frustrating.

627.50 was the score that won the $44 Club Twirl

  • mason3132

Thanks 627.50 he had to have Redman. Is there anyway to see results from contest your not entered in? Thinking about going up to the 44 doing less of the 5 was just wanting to see average points to get a return on your money.
