Guys have had no issue hitting it out of the rough so far; it does look a bit juicy around the greens in places.

    I don’t think it’s that bad overall

I dont remember this tournament at all from last year. Enough trees/OB to punish errant drives?

Thanks, BIF. Burns is terrible ATG, so maybe I’ll proceed with caution on him. Or maybe that indicates stay on him, since he wasn’t getting up and down anyway and now others won’t as often. These type of conundrums are why I suck at PGA.

Your boy Breshad Perriman (well, not your boy anymore I suppose) just about “took down” the big NFL Sim last night for me (and like 70 other dudes with whom I was duped) in the CPT slot. Gotta love NFL Showdowns with 137K entries.

Thanks, man. Have to share this hilarious nugget from the article:

“Reed told Langwell Detroit was among the best food experiences he’s had on Tour”

    Bump up exposures accordingly

Thinking about taking a flyer or two on Theegala. Talent is talent, no reason why he can’t go low.

I had my best weeks last year with low owned young guys like Wolff and Redman, but I also had bad weeks with guys like Suh and Xiong. Still, the #1 NCAA guy at a discount salary and ownership in an average field is more than tempting!

I didn’t watch a lot of it either last year as I know I worked Thur-Fri and then didn’t have much live for DFS on the weekend.

Seems like (so far) trees are spaced out enough where you’ll have a shot more times than not when you are in them.

Varner had no issue on 10 from them and Bubba hit a low punch to the back of the green there as well.

MKF 5/5’s have been sitting at 20x all week…gonna be a hell of a day tomorrow if we can get a birdie fest again

  • Southie777

Definitely showing my green-ness for the golf, but who is KSDT that a few people have mentioned?

  • JH822547

    Kyle Stanley Death Train

I don’t know how it started.

They haven’t put up the 5/5 full tourney rapid fire I loved since around this time yesterday. I’m a little bummed. They’ve also raised the FPs on everyone. 27.5 fps for round 1 is a little dicey. With 5 birdies, you have to bogey-free to hit it…so we are really talking 6 birdie territory.

OMG those odds are great, I just went and made a few bets, Hatton over Fowler seems like a free square to me

Yup I left all those alone, 27.5 was screaming under across the board, felt like a trap bet

Yeah I’m not laying anything at 27.5 but I got a bunch of action at 26.5 and 25.5

Anybody know anything about the rough here this year? I’m wanting to go balls to the wall with guys like Wyndham, Wolff, Burns, etc. who bomb and putt but can get pretty crooked off the tee and/or with irons from time to time. How penal the rough is could move me off or keep me on such an approach.

The other day on the golf channel they said they were growing the rough up so that it would be more challenging than last year

  • Kp24

    Winner: Fred Van Rooyen
    Fade: Reed
Sleeper: Lanto and Roberto Castro from deep

    It’s like a 1/2-inch taller and shouldn’t present much of a problem.

LMAO, to prove to myself you only hear what you want to hear.

On the Golf Channel…..Jason Day said he couldn’t visualize his shot so he had his eye’s open and hit according to what he saw. Now he closes his eye’s. That explaines why he sucks. :)

  • Southie777

Haha, thanks, guys! Saw a bunch of people referring to Death Train on here last week and it went totally over my head!

  • MACKTYSON

    Winner: Bryson
    Fade: Nasty Yams
    Sleeper: Wise

27.5 is definitely a trap number, especially if you are banking on 5/5 guys having that type of round on the same day in a combo of AM/PM conditions. I would take some 2/2, 3/3 maybe with AM guys only…However there are some birdie rapid fires for the full tournament that seem solid:

    Webb over Wise
    Bryson over Mats
    Tony over Rickie
I can even get on board with Reed over Day

I think you mentioned all those bets earlier in the thread so thank you because I got in on the 10x/20x bets for those matchups.

    DK lineups
    Winner: Hatton over Hovland
    Fades: Mats, Rickie
    Sleeper: Chappell

if they had had dry weather the rough wont be growing as deep and the grass will be easier to swing through, dry grass doesnt impede the club like wet grass does.
