Well this will be a fun one… which 6-7.5K scrub is gonna win this?

Throwing all stats out the door for this one and just “picking” guys lol Still ready for the Open but man I need some contest tickets!

I have the Beat The Forum for this week I will put up contests later today after salaries are out.

  • cplatt87

Bryson going be be close to 12k in this field. Yikes.

At first glance (pending salaries), I might just go back to Grillo and Keegan this week as they will likely have suppressed ownership after being chalky MC’s last week.

  • Getty33

Scary thought. Last year not a single golfer shot even par or worse in round 1 and went on to make the cut.

  • hbomb57

Living only 15 miles from the course this weeks weather is going to be ideal after all the High temps/Humidity rain and flooding we have had. Temps are going to be mid 70’s for Highs and upper 50’s in the morning with lower than normal humidity. Sunday could be a stray T-storm but that is pretty far out.

Fowler 8700. Is there a fowler death train?

Think I’d rather stick with the original KSDT.

    P.S. Prices are out.

Figured Bryson would be on the higher end of the 11k range, so he might be a “bargain” at 11.4. There’s also some decent value sub 7k at first glance which should make it fairly easy to jam in a couple of the top end guys.

I generally go stars and scrubs in these top heavy fields, so likely will do the same again this week.

    Happy Irish Open week!

If he follows his current trend, Max Homa should top 10 this one.

my first thought as i start my week is damn,,, 2 weeks of happy meal stats i got to do.

fyi i was behind because i was working on adding US open info into my sheet. Finished the last 2 weeks and setting up Rocket Mortgage. Will update you all this afternoon.

My actual first thought was…Hey this is a true birdiefest. I would say one of the few this year. In the past, I have noticed skill sets are different for Hard to score and easy to score events. Guys that have been great might not be so good and vice versa. The studs can play anywhere but the low salary guys might need second and third looks, dont make your mind up too soon. IMHO
    Good Luck

Richard Flowers p-ssed me off last week because I never play him but then got his MC in a few. But I guess I’ll have to reconsider the total fade, maybe use him in a swap or 3.

Is there a compelling reason to MME the King of the Speedway qualifier? I’m tempted to just single-entry play them and get reimbursed any difference of tickets I have. I only generally play 1 Nascar LU a week – I only generally MME Golf.

I’m leaning towards the pass at that price hike, will have to wait an see what ownership numbers look like.

I view Max as Abe Ancer Lite. Same game plan. Drive it in the fairway, shoot for the flag, and make a few putts. Abe is better at it, but Max has a win to his credit. Their biggest weakness is scrambling around the green. After 2 missed cuts, Max shouldn’t be highly owned at $8400, but I’ll most likely be a buyer.
