    Webb in the bunker. Done.

His iron play was horrible. Had only 1 birdie look inside 12’ all day and it was on a par 5.

  • byo34

Niemann with the nice 6 footer to stay bogey free thru 36!

  • JimKronlund

I have a nice Niemann, Merritt, Power, Kokrak, Kizz line up brewing but it has Grillo.

  • lfn1992

Can’t wait for the “ownership doesn’t matter” takes tonight!

  • cplatt87

6/6 is going to be super low this week, and really only Niemann of the top 10 is popping off. There’s a world where half of the top 10 owned guys all MC which is basically unheard of.

This was a great week for that Ownership debate pre-tournament lol

  • Steverino01

I had 5 of my 12 play this morning.

    Joker -10
    Merritt -9
    Kokrak -6
    Hickok -6
    Reed -3

Ugh Reed why couldn’t you finish at -4?

Now to sweat the afternoon guys and -3.

  • zioncres

you guys think the cut will be -4?

  • cplatt87

Datagolf has -3 at about 65% currently and they’re usually pretty accurate. Although it was over 70% not too long ago so it will likely end up being almost a coin flip between -3 and -4 is my guess.

How did ownership strategy workout for you last year if you did not have Bryson?
What you are talking about is hindsight bias.

  • klyon28

This is gonna be the worst week of my slump. I have Niemann at -10, Merritt at -9 and Kokrak at -6. Then Fowler at -2 still to go. But Taylor already missed at +1 and I have Grillo who is at +1 now but will have to get to -4 to have any shot of a 5/6 and cashing. If he misses and I get a 4/6 there’s no shot I cash and if those other 3 stay at the top it’s going to be the worst lose in my slump knowing how well I could have done.

It’s crazy to me that Bryson went -23 at this event last year, and this year he is scrambling to save Par on most holes.

I know he lost his caddie on the eve of the tournament, but still. It’s a great example of how random PGA DFS truly is.

It could be weak mind… OK thats a slam on him, perhaps many things on his mind have made him hyper aware and not focused.

he’s got issues with promoting “The Match”, got issues with Brooks, this has to have spilled into issues with his caddie, now ex caddie. I really dont think he is comfortable in the situation he is in. You cant practice “Q-score”

Nobody really cares about the Rocket Mortgage Classic unless you need to up your status

Hunter Mahan still gets to play

Was just a joke Jim – Wasn’t a dig. I appreciated the discussion. I approach ownership as one of many angles when making my lineup decisions, but obviously there’s many factors and not everyone does so.

Ultimately you need the winner to win anything in DFS, regardless of ownership. You and I 100% agree there.
