Seems like every week the lineup I use goes 5/6 and I’m hoping to min cash.
Last week it was Tringale who missed the cut by one stroke.
All my guys look real good again, except for Emil Grillo. Another 5/6 coming in.

  • jdubadubs

81% of lineups in the Big Flop shot have someone that either finished R2 at -2 or worse or WD and can’t get a 6/6 already. 6/6 going to be crazy low today

Just getting frustrating. Last year I made a couple thousand on dfs golf. Now I’m going on almost 3 months straight without cashing outside of a few minimum cashes in weekend only lineups. Such a slump. Anyone got any tips?

Play better——make better picks——choose more wisely . LOL JK I am right there with you LOL

Shout out to NastyYams for not getting a vaccine and crushing 60% of my lineups. They’re pretty much dead anyways with Grillo and Redman. That’s it for me. GL

  • skankinmat

damn dude, bramlett goes drops 2 shots on the final 3 holes to miss the cut.

If you have a process that has worked, trust it. I know results can be frustrating. Also, and I know this isn’t an option for everyone due to the time restraints of every day life, but try to avoid listening to experts. My best results have always come from playing guys I identified on my own. I hope that wasn’t too vague lol

Did Kisner start lacing his chew with cannabis to calm his ass down? Guy is playing like a new man.

I switched to mainly single and 3-max contests and it’s made a big difference. I just try to whittle down to the plays I like best instead of trying to expand the player pool like I would if playing heavier in MME style contests.

  • tristanwolf

In a volatile sport like golf it goes in waves. I was hotter then hot for like 2-3 months. This week I might have two 6/6s. I have a process I use and refine. For me it comes down to analyzing what my research said vs. what happened. If I thought it was a ball striking course and picked the best ball strikers and they didn’t come through because of putting, I didn’t do anything wrong. The putting was just unlucky.

This week it is easy to see what went wrong for me. I normally don’t go above 40% on any golfer in my pool. I went 60% on Bryson. He was a great play. It didn’t work out. But I hampered another 20 lineups because I didn’t follow my own rule. I think I talked earlier about how because of my Bryson exposure I had to cut Niemann from my pool. Whoops.

But, seriously. Play within your bankroll. Have a consistent process that you believe in. Don’t get too wrapped up in any one set of results.

Sungjae back to missing 5 footers today I see!

Golf is THE most volatile Daily Fantasy sport there is. I mean, look at this tournament. Every metric was pointing at Bryson at a bare minimum making the cut and being a good cash play, and look what happened. Some weeks, every possible indication light is pointing at a golfer, and he tweaks something mid-round, a caddie quits, he drinks some water laced with Montezuma’s revenge – all this stuff happens, seemingly more frequently than other sports. I’d extend that to Brice, too. He really looked like he was on the brink of getting it all together and making a run through some tournaments – then he put up a turkey and went +3 on Thursday. It happens.

I view this like I do blackjack. There are things you can do that nudge the odds in your favor, but sometimes the dealer gets blackjack.

  • lfn1992

I have this LU sitting at 52nd in the MiniMax

Joker, Kokrak, Kisner, Merritt, Tringale….. and freaking Brice

Hell it could even end up as a 4/6… LOL

  • Baseballshark2019

This is why i quit dfs baseball because dfs give you a fighting chance against the quant guys

  • lfn1992

The Irish Open ironically is similar – the 6/6 rate is going to be miniscule. Sam Horsfield was a very popular pick and he sucked Day 1 and WD Round 2.

Currently I am leading a bunch of GPPs with a freaking 4/6 because the cut line is -3 instead of -2 and Laurie Canter can’t birdie an easy Par 5
