    Rosters.com CEO

    RG community,

I wanted to take a minute and introduce you all to Rosters and tell you a bit about us.

Rosters is a well funded and stable company, operating as part of the iTEAM Network. You may remember that iTEAM made good on the balances of the customers who lost their money when FantasyUp shut down. We have 19 employees in our Las Vegas and Florida offices including experienced staff in Engineering, Finance, Operations and Customer Service.

I come from an 18 year history in brick and mortar casinos. I started out as a Craps Dealer and eventually became Chief Operating Officer of the world’s third largest casino. And I run Rosters just like I used to run the casinos. We provide great customer service, we make sure our customer’s money is safe and we make sure they have fun.

DFS is a tough business and we’re in it for the long haul. We hope that you’ll give us a chance to earn your business. We’ve raised more than $5 Million to date and more than half of that came from me personally. Like I said, we’re in this for the long haul.

Last week we started our partnership with RotoGrinders and the members of the RG community gave us some great feedback on our site. You said that you wanted to be able to play on mobile devices, so we enhanced the site to make it mobile responsive. That will be available today. (we also have a native app Rosters available in the Apple App store)

We have some exciting promotions going on this week, including deposit bonuses, a Money Back Guarantee Tournament on Thursday, and a FreeRoll on Friday where you’ll be playing against poker great Phil Ivey.

We know that we still have a lot of areas where we can improve and I’m excited to learn from the RG community. So myself and David Williams will be active in this thread. Im excited to hear your feedback here and keep you up to date on the new things we’re working on.

Or you can reach out to us directly. You can reach me at gabehunterton@rosters.com. David Williams is our Affiliate Liaison and can be reached at david@rosters.com. Mark is our Head of Operations and can be reached at mark@rosters.com. And Josh, our Head of Customer Service, can be reached at josh@rosters.com.

I’m serious about this, we want to hear from you. Your feedback is going to help us deliver a better experience.

    Have a great day.

    Gabe Hunterton

Threw a shot in the $25 Grand Slam and $2 Amateur GPP. I later edited my $2 lineup and realized this morning that editing that lineup caused my $25 lineup to mimic the changes made in the $2. That is a major problem in my opinion. I actually like the site and payout structures, but I’ll be staying away until glaring problems like this are resolved. Glad the test run only cost me $25.

That’s the same thing that happened to me. I mentioned it in this thread a couple days ago, they said they were going to look into it.

FantasyUp is on the iTEAM network along with many other sites including Rosters.com The players are part of a pool so the contests are the same. You are only allowed a username on one site on the network and it will only work on that specific site, otherwise that would conflict with the regulations and limits on multi entry.

The only difference in the “skins” on the network is occasionally they will have skin specific promotions, such as the RG tournaments we held this past weekend only available on Rosters.com.

to many issues can i cash out without losing the 20 doll promo.

You are able to cash out but our terms state you must play through the $30 in tournament entry buyins before cashing that portion out. You have entered $10 in tournament entires so far so you can cash out everything but $20 (the amount of the bonus). This is to prevent someone from depositing and receiving their bonus. Using their bonus to play and then cashing out their deposit.

On a separate note, can you please email me your issues. I would like to look into them and see what changes we can make. david@rosters.com

    Thank you,
    DW

I apologize for this issue. It is something we are aware of and our development team has a change in the pipeline. We estimate this change in functionality in the very near future.

Our accounting department processes withdrawals Monday through Friday. Once it has been processed it can take between 1-5 business days to appear in your account. Often it is is a lot soon as you experienced with your first cash out. I have looked into yours and it should be going out today. Happy to hear you are enjoying the site.

Why is Aaron Sanchez not in the player pool tonight? Rosters continues to fuck up over and over.

Unfortunately we still have the issue where if a player is called up after we save our salaries we are unable to add that player to the draft pool. We are looking into a quicker way to get reliable data on players who are called up and are working on implementing this.

Following the MLB contests closing out tonight we will be down for maintenance. Upon going back up tomorrow we will be posting our MLB contests as well as our NFL contests for week 1. We will post in this thread as soon as we are up and contests are posted.

So- Rosters is down today and my FantasyUp is down today also.

Which site should I be playing on for football this year ?

  • manBEAST

If you are talking about which one to play between Rosters and FantasyUp you should simply look at all the sites or logins on the iTEAM network as one site. Rosters is FantasyUp! The prize pools are shared therefore play where you login joephoto so we know thats you :)

Rosters and FantasyUp are both sites on the same network, iTEAM network. They share player and prize pools. You are only allowed an account on one site on our network. If you have an account on one already that is what you should use to login at the appropriate site.

We were down this morning for maintenance to set up our launch of NFL which is now live in our lobby.

So if Rosters and FantasyUp share prize pools, does that mean they are run separately, but then joined when people enter into the game? Or is it a situation where the two sites are linked real-time?

Someone tell me if I’m right here.

As a long time loyal FantasyUp.com customer on the iTeamNetwork I’m ineligible to join Rosters, and receive any bonuses and Grinders incentives.

    OK

Maybe I shouldn’t have been following this big announcement.

FantasyUp.com is OK. It’s slow, and my mobile app for it never worked for my android phone, but it’s fine.
Would have liked to try Rosters if it was your better product.

The two sites are linked with each other and all sites on the network seamlessly in the background. We haven’t released an Android app yet but it is in the final stages of development and will be requested soon. Our website is now mobile responsive so you should be able to use your phone’s browser without any issues.
