    RG community,

    I wanted to take a minute and introduce you all to Rosters and tell you a bit about us.

    Rosters is a well funded and stable company, operating as part of the iTEAM Network. You may remember that iTEAM made good on the balances of the customers who lost their money when FantasyUp shut down. We have 19 employees in our Las Vegas and Florida offices including experienced staff in Engineering, Finance, Operations and Customer Service.

    I come from an 18 year history in brick and mortar casinos. I started out as a Craps Dealer and eventually became Chief Operating Officer of the world’s third largest casino. And I run Rosters just like I used to run the casinos. We provide great customer service, we make sure our customer’s money is safe and we make sure they have fun.

    DFS is a tough business and we’re in it for the long haul. We hope that you’ll give us a chance to earn your business. We’ve raised more than $5 Million to date and more than half of that came from me personally. Like I said, we’re in this for the long haul.

    Last week we started our partnership with RotoGrinders and the members of the RG community gave us some great feedback on our site. You said that you wanted to be able to play on mobile devices, so we enhanced the site to make it mobile responsive. That will be available today. (we also have a native app Rosters available in the Apple App store)

    We have some exciting promotions going on this week, including deposit bonuses, a Money Back Guarantee Tournament on Thursday, and a FreeRoll on Friday where you’ll be playing against poker great Phil Ivey.

    We know that we still have a lot of areas where we can improve and I’m excited to learn from the RG community. So myself and David Williams will be active in this thread. Im excited to hear your feedback here and keep you up to date on the new things we’re working on.

    Won’t let me deposit. Filled out my profile, but when I go to deposit it sends me back to my profile, where it says everything is good. Talked to customer service, they said IT would contact me in 24 hours. I would like to play the buy 3 get 4 tournament. Can anyone on here help?

    I spoke with support and they said they are in contact with you and informed you that your license needs to be emailed in to support@rosters.com.

    It’s how they currently do it. I think they should have both current winnings and projected winnings if they are going to do that. I was also told they are working on the fact that not all of the live entries were being shown. I apparently won money on some of the bigger contests but I have still no idea what places I got because I couldn’t view them. lol…

    Hi David,

    I joined a $5 tournament with a $1000 guaranteed prize pool. It only had 16 entries, and was supposed to pay out top 85 places. Due to this, only $600 of the $1000 guarantee was paid out. Will the remaining $400 be distributed evenly or proportionally to all 16 places?

    I’d like to know this as well. Most, if not all, of the bigger contests had overlay. The standard practice is to adjust payouts proportionally, correct?

    I looked a couple hours ago and it was showing as being paid out and account balance updated, but now its back to saying the contest is still going. Not sure what is going on.

    Support said they had a scoring issue and are rerunning contests and will pay out shortly.

    Also got a response saying that in their guaranteed contests they pay out what the payout table says. In other words, if 10 spots are supposed to be payed out and 5 people enter then those people will be paid what the table says for 1-5th (no readjusting to pay out the entire prize pool). Is this standard?

    That is definitely not right. A Guaranteed contest should pay out the entire guarantee.
    I also just checked. Earlier my balance was increased by winnings, but now those are all removed from my balance now. The completed contests are still showing in history though.

    That’s what I always thought. For example, if 1 person entered the milly maker last week they would have won $5M right?

    I wouldn’t complain that much. You basically entered a gpp that was free money. Just take it

    I see your bonus was credited shortly after your deposit. There is a short review period (usually less than one hour) to protect against fraud and identity theft.

    The guarantee applies to the individual payouts. I have confirmed that this is standard within the industry and how the other big 2 sites handle this situation should it occur.

    .@OsRitmos In the instance you described that site would only pay out the guaranteed 1st place prize to the sole entrant. This is the industry standard (although it does not occur often so it is not commonly seen)
