    Hi,

Given that Yahoo has now started branching out with these (relatively) huge prize pools on a regular basis, will rotogrinders begin including player’s performances on their Site in the TPOY rankings? Correct me if I’m wrong, but Yahoo is not currently included in the player rankings right? Just hoping to find out if they will be included soon. I believe Fantasy Draft and other smaller sites are included in this ranking? I could be wrong.

    Thanks

Yahoo and/or RG (or however it’s done), really need to find a way to export your history and be able to view it in a tangible manner at some point or another. I know your can do this with FD/DK through RG (which I may be wrong about, but thought there is somewhere this can be done). I have literally played tens of thousands of contests at Yahoo and have nary a shred of useful information or data on my history with profits/losses in anything. Seems in this day and age of advanced technology, being able to have any type of quantitative analysis of your contest history seems like a must.

that too. Im not really sure who I’d contact to get those tools added in. Usually RG guys jump into these threads with feedback, but I’d love to get the ROI analyzer tool to work with yahoo as well. Yahoo effects on Player rankings should matter given that people have been winning 100k every weekend for the past month.

I’ll see if I can find out any information today.

It’s not really possible due to Yahoo not requiring users to identify themselves with usernames and they also have no way for us to import the results.

We do have unique usernames (we didn’t when we launched), so that shouldn’t be an issue. And Yahoo supports Oauth so there are ways to import results. I’ll work with the RG folks to make sure this happens in 2019.

I was just browsing the top players profiles and saw points awarded for some of their Yahoo scores. I thought “damn, I haven’t added my Yahoo id to my profile.” But, I saw no option on my screen name editing page. I get it if it’s just some of the most impactful players in the industry are the only tracked players, I’m just curious. But, my biggest NBA score ever came on Yahoo so I have begun playing a little more over there.

    Hi,

There was a time where users could add their Yahoo usernames to their RG profiles (and many users did), but we have never tracked any results for Yahoo for any user. We removed the ability to add Yahoo usernames to avoid confusion and will add that option back if we ever track Yahoo results :)

You can see this by going to a players profile, scrolling down to the results section and hitting “see all”. Then you will just need to select Yahoo from the menu-bar. No users will show any contests for Yahoo specifically:)

Thanks for helping me understand, Ross.
