Man Si woo is a real a real life dumpster fire. The plantation course is so damn easy and he just finds a way to keep being trash every whole.

With Ollie at +2, and me at 100% Ollie, almost ready to call it a year for PGA

Need Chesson Hadley to get to -3 or lower. Have a FD lineup with Kokrak, Kizzire, Simpson, Spaun, Streelman, Brown, Lovemark and Hadley. -1 or lower so far….

Laird b2b birdies to get in decent shape to make the cut and Lovemark goes and triples and he is on the easier course.

  • astauty

well… if Si-Woo doesnt go 2 under on the next 3 i think he’s got very little shot of making the cut tomorrow on the more difficult course.

    Cut probably ends up -3

It’s interesting that 15 of the top 18 on the leaderboard are playing the Plantation course. There’s still hope for Ollie and co, just hope the wind doesn’t blow tomorrow

Nah, 15 of the 18 rounds that are -5 or better are on the PL course which he plays tomorrow. I would be more worried if you have Si Woo, McDowell and even CH3. Thing she will really bunch up more tomorrow with the switch of courses. Expect a -2 or -3 cut. Well in the range for Ollie to get to.

-3 on his first 9 and now 1 over.

You cannot “see” when an athlete is doing their very best but the outcome they wanted does not occur. All you are claiming is the extreme exception to the rule and still you would be only guessing. You cannot see what is going on inside their mind. You do not spend an entire lifetime dedicated to one thing, and not take every opportunity to learn how to be resilient when times are tough. Tweet your position on this to any Pro athlete or PGA tour player and I can promise you they would tear it apart. All pro athletes take great pride in what they do. Especially when it is in public view.

Also I did not “play” with friends. I played at a national and international level in 2 different sports. I can speak as an athlete.

my you seem to be touchy on the subject….

    Lets agree to disagree.
So many factors come into play in an attempt at excellence. Desire is but one part. Team Sports are mainly in my thinking on this but I also competed at a hi level in an individual sport. The mind plays funny tricks, and in retrospect thinking I can see unoptimal performance with strong desire to perform well. Sorry you didnt compete against friends, I did all the time, I practiced with friends. I played against my friends. I wished my friends good luck every time.

    Andrew Johnston, Fabian Gomez….

I would concede the remaining 3 days right now but thankfully DK doesnt do it. maybe tomorrow will be a different day.

LOL, My player pool was 15 for 20 LU’s……………..10 are over the cut line. This is by far the worst Thursday I have ever had.
