Any love for Kokrak? Which Kokrak will we get this week? He seemed to hit the ball OK at the Master’s but the putting stunk. That’s pretty much what happened at RSM in calendar year 2017, when he MC after 65-76 (guess which one was Seaside), thanks to losing 3 strokes putting on Friday (and probably another stroke or two chipping). He did play well here in 2012 and 2013.
Winner – Harman nips English
Fade – Sungjae, Fleetwood, Oosty, Niemann and I’m underweight Webb
Sleepers – Kizzire, Cink
Deeper Sleeper – $6300 #2 Amateur in the World local boy Davis Thompson from St. Simons, Ga; has not finished out of Top 12 in last 10 college events, made the match play in US Amateur, played in and missed the cut by 1 shot in US Open (but did shoot 69 in Round 1) and made the cut in the 2019 RSM finishing 23rd.
Winner: Tyrell Hatton, The Forgotten Man
Fade: Sungjae All Day
Sleeper: Kizzire, not sure if he counts as a sleeper but CT Pan

Winner: Webb
Fade: Covid Fake News
Sleeper: Noren

I love playing List but will have maybe only a couple. Too risky imo especially for SE. Not a big Ventura guy either. I’d rather pay up to McNealy if you can afford it
Winner: Webb
Top 5: Im, Oosty, Doc, Lowry
Fade: Fleet, English, Day
Unintentional fade: Hatton
Sleeper: NeSmith
I only played 4 lineups per site. 100% Webb and even 100% McCarthy due to price, made cuts/RF, and top 10 equity. Let’s go!
“There is no truth…only what you choose to believe.”
First time really going multi-entry vs. single-entry due to the large field, figured I’d give it a shot.
Not quite sure my lineup construction was done ‘correctly’ as I went with a super core of 2 guys who are in every lineup (18 total) and a semi core of an additional 2 guys across (12 lineups) with semi-overlap. The final 2-3 spots in each lineup are comprised of a large pool of players.
There’s definitely no changing now, but I was wondering from those that multi-enter frequently, is that way too reliant on a core of 4 golfers?
Essentially if 2/4 play poorly then I’m dead on arrival, but I figure it’s better to corner a market than to throw complete darts with little correlation. Cheers!
interesting on Davis Thompson because I was actually looking at him and was very intrigued. also his price point helped make work the lineup i wanted. i’ve been going back and forth between him and two others at that price point but I value your input. i might plug in Thompson now….
It’s good to be king.

You went with the all or nothing approach, which is fine if you’re willing to accept the results and try again another time. 18 is certainly more than single, but on the very low end of multi entry. If you start playing more than 50 or so, you might want to spread out and not have more than about 40% of one guy. I don’t go 100% on anyone even in my 20 LU contests, but I am about 80% on a few, which is still very all or nothing feeling.
Still almost 2 and 1/2 hours for fidgeting!

Any course or tee time split advantages for showdown today?
No Andy Sullivan?
~
Not me. My lineups are locked, unless someone wakes up with a fever.
If Plantation doesn’t have an edge in DK scoring, I’ll eat my hat! (BTW, I never wear hats, fwiw.)
P.S. All things being equal. But otoh, 6 of the 8 top salaries are teeing off on Seaside. So that’s a big ol’ but.
~
There is no tee time splits here as each course has the equivalent of a tee time wave on it so it’s basically an AM wave at each course over roughly 2 hours. Basically all 156 guys will be out there at same time spread out over the two courses.
Both days have basically the same weather so no course advantage either overall – for Showdown (missed that part), Plantation usually yield more birdies as Par 72
This week is a total crap shoot for me at least…I decided to gamble and not use Webb at all and hope he has an off week and knocks out 40% of the field.
I am pretty much all in on Hatton/ Niemann and Henley..I need those guys or I am dead.
My long shot anchor is going to be Malnati…if he misses cut I am screwed.
QUICK QUESTION: Is shot tracker only on one course or both?
He and Conners are my top picks. Just to let you know.
So I pretty much just went with a glorified single entry haha (that $8 gpp looks nice though!), can’t imagine trying to create many more lineups than that by hand, 18 lineups is exhausting already. Appreciate it BriantVT, good luck today!
Is this the tournament where they don’t have TV cameras on one of the courses, or is that Pebble/Monterey that I’m thinking of?
Edit: Looks like I see featured groups that are on both courses, so I guess that answers that question.
Correct ST only on Seaside course
Kinda correct – they usually have have a couple cameras on Plantation but the primary course is Seaside and it’s coverage will be like a normal event. Usually the coverage we see from Plantation is more like highlights where the Seaside coverage is live.
I haven’t been to this tourney but I’m assuming they just have a few mobile units at Plantation to get some shots of guys who are playing well and of any name-players over there – where the Seaside course will have the “tower” with the broadcasters and more rigs and cameras set-up for all 4 days.
….and yes, this is basically the same as what they do for the AT&T at Pebble versus the other two courses they use.
They have Im/Rose/Kuchar as a featured group, but maybe that’s for round 2 (they’re on Plantation today):
