Just realized I’m 100% across both sites .. I like him a lot this week but not sure I can stomach 100%

Ya I was the same, so I went 90% instead…

I’d say Munoz or Redman. Surprised you’ve used everyone else. When did it start? No, Harman, English, or Henley?

Forgot about Harman. I have him left. Used other guys. Runs whole pga schedule , so started at TOC and runs through these last two events. I was leaning those two guys you mentioned. Need to differentiate these last two weeks with high upside potential (not just cut makers) to move up standings.

Yea, none of those three have course history that really excites me; kind of all over the place. Harman and Redman seem to have a type of game fit for this tournament, but Harman is playing better golf than Redman. Munoz is playing better golf than the other two, but is lesser of a fit for this place. Harman is going to be chalky in DFS because of his price value, but that doesn’t matter for your purposes. I’m not sure who’d I consider out of your other names; probably all equal long shots for different reasons.

I’m in a One and Done that just started with the US Open, so I’ve only used 8 guys so far. Lot more choices for me.

I’m curious what parameters your using for SG data that got you off Kokrak last week. He was near the top in pretty much every model I ran due to how well he’s been playing since the restart.

SGP. He was gaining 10 and 5 strokes which is not sustainable for anyone much less Jason Kokrak and especially his first attempt at Augusta. I took the 600 in savings and pivoted to Corey Conners who has a similar T2G profile and had seen Augusta

yea i think ive whittled it down to munoz or redman, leaning munoz since hes been playing good golf and had good finish here last year.

Makes sense. I think my one area i need to improve is doing a deeper dive into things like that and trying to determine when variance will happen. Kokrak definitely sunk me last week as he was on my cash team which ended up being a 5/6

11.2k and 10k are very different price points though. DJ was just way too cheap last week which is why he was as popular as he was.

Webb will likely be the most popular guy this week, but no chance he gets up around 40% like DJ was. He’ll probably settle in the 20-25% range.

  • MACKTYSON

    Winner: Munoz
    Fade: Webb

    EDIT NORLANDER OUT WITH COVID

    Damn it

New Sleeper is Hahn I suppose.

that’s a very good point. figured with the big field and lot’s of options below 6K that most people would be able to make Webb work.

Lol i know it sounds dumb, but a hot putter is the one thing that can cool off quickly. That was my point

Nick Watney is from CA and lives in Las Vegas
    I did miss Byrd
Kisner gets associated with Sea Island for some reason, but lives in and is from Aiken, SC and went to UGA, neither of which are near Sea Island.
Teater lives in and is from Kentucky
Glover went to Clemson and lives in Florida near Sawgrass (where is wife beats him up)
Mullinax is not playing this week, but does live on St Simons

Kisner trains and gets coached in Sea Island so has that connection

Same connection to Sea Island for Cink, Horschel, Sneds, Poston and a few others

How much poston is too much poston?

I have him in 1 of 8. (Up to 8 now, because of course.)

Reason I don’t have more: too many others in this DK price range I also like.

Winner: I’ll be boring and pick Webb

Fade: the 150 golfers that aren’t in my single bullet.

Sleeper: I think the only guy I’m playing that might be considered a sleeper is Malnati.

Course history seems really volatile here. Examples: Chuckie Three Sticks and Mackenzie Hughes.

Charles Howell III, last 4 years (most recent 1st): MC 1 MC 13
Mack Hughes: 65 MC MC 1

I’m not quite sure what to do with this, save maybe weight recent form higher than I already do?
    ~

That course history variance makes more sense here than at other tournies as both courses are very much gettable if you are hitting it good but little misses that screw up angles cause missed greens and tougher saves.

Although these courses are a bit different and a little more open and less severe doglegs; I still like to think of these course a lot like Harbour Town (RBC Heritage) as being on the proper side of the fairways (not just hitting them) is more beneficial than at other courses. Depending on the pin location, sometime being in the right rough could give you a better shot at a close approach than hitting from left side of fairway.

Hickok and Norlander out — C19

Rhein Gibson and Ryan Brehm replace them.

This is a tough week I am worried about the Masters hangover..but Webb usually pays off his salary when he is a huge chalk..I still haven’t really decided what I am going to do yet.

C19 getting worse on Tour – I heard Pat Perez and a few guys talking about it last night on PGA Tour Radio show; they were thinking that another stoppage was becoming a real possibility.
