All aboard on Team Guerrier, but how could you not have some Lee Slattery at $6.7k?

I think my main LU is not going to dip into that $7k and below level, but I will definitely have some Guerrier and Slattery.

I weighted course (event) history extra heavy this week… other than last year he’s had a rough going.

Guerrier made my final cut. I liked too many guys in the 9k range.. had to dip down.

    Good luck this week

I’m awaiting Roth’s weather report, but in anticipation of those winds, I did end up making one of my 3 lineups a mostly tee time draw. I had 14 guys in my player pool and 5 are morning wave so overall I’ve got the bad side of things based on who I like if that report holds true, but I figured might as well make one of the lineups all 5 of those morning guys plus one afternoon.

Looks like we aren’t getting a weather report (unless I’m somehow missing it). From what I can tell on windfinder, it seems to be a pretty significant edge to Thurs am / Fri pm. I’m comfortable enough with my lu to play that angle.

I had him, but switched to Percy courtesy of cheap whacks. I’m still wavering though.

I’m playing neither of them. Forced myself to go no more than 30 guys this week (less sprinkling of the less than 5% types) as this new 65 cut rule is killing the 6/6.

I’ve only been going single bullet since we started back up and half the field is out for me. I’d probably be going Spaun at that range if he wasn’t in wrong side of the field (wind).

Way to put the pressure on :). Good luck. I’m rockin Percy on my only lineup this week.

I guess the less than / greater than symbols break a post in here?

Haha…I won’t hold a missed cut against you (and I know you put that qualifier in). He’s 2/2 so far, so let’s hope for the hat trick!

Not exactly sure what you are looking for but if you scroll through this link to the dates (Sept 12th and Sept 19th) you should see links to a bunch of golf contests

If that’s not what you are looking for, you’ll need to spell it out better for me.

Being that the Tourney is on the west coast, Roth may be waiting a little longer to be sure what Friday looks like.

Right now it looks like they are calling for around 20 mph winds in the afternoon on Thursday, gusts could be stronger. Friday they are calling for around 16 mph winds in the afternoon, so it’s a difference, but not that huge of a difference. Now Friday morning is also suppose to have a little more wind than Thursday morning.

I’m pretty sure Roth would say Thu AM/Fri PM is an advantage, but I keep thinking about that Friday afternoon cut sweat in the wind. That could be brutal.

I still can’t make up my mind what to do. I may just play who I want to play and say screw it.

I feel like cheap guys usually end up right where the price suggests but Lovemark at $6300 seems pretty cheap. He made the cut last week and he’s a west coast guy with decent history here and he’s on the good end of the weather draw. Anybody else think he’s worth a shot?

Yea I’m playing him, but I’m nervous as he missed most of last season with an injury. He’s on a medical extension I believe.

His results haven’t been great but between the Korn Ferry finals and start of this season he’s got 6 events under his belt. It’s a big if but if he’s 100% healthy then he’s way too cheap for what he could do.

    Winner: Matsuyama
Fade: Adam Scott (unlike many I like the top salaries except Scott)
Picking by the weather. I think the afternoon winds too unpredictable to time and perhaps later than expected, either way not the determining factor.
    Sleeper:
Well if Phil can be called a sleeper, I think he makes cut and is worth the salary.
Furyk I need to do well.
    Hossler, Garnett, Stroud, Thompson, Norlander

It’s up now and pretty much what we expected, some advantage based on peak winds but since the worst is gonna be middle of the day even the morning guys will have to deal with it unless they have one of the first tee times.

True, but as one who has played golf for decades, yet not at this caliber, coming off a shoulder injury when playing against the best in the world, you still have to wonder if this guy is the same guy as he use to be.

Example: Tiger Woods isn’t the same guy he use to be.

Hell i wake up on the wrong side of the bed and my shoulder hurts.

Yea Roth pretty much confirmed what we expected. Heck in the last few hours that Roth was waiting it out it looks like the advantage has diminished some. There may be a slight advantage, but if you have a big time player playing on the opposite end, I wouldn’t fade him. Now the shitty players playing on the wrong side of the draw, I’d probably fade.
