FWIW….Was just listening to Inside The Ropes on PGA Tour radio a few minutes ago and they had Will Haskett on who talked to Will Zalatoris after his final round yesterday and Zalatoris said he didn’t realize how exhausted he was currently.

The guys on the show didn’t believe he would be the betting favorite this week but it was something to watch since he has had 13 consecutive Top 20s between the Tours. It looks like he has had only 2 weeks off since KFT started back up on 6/14 and is now going on week 4 since his last break the week of 8/30.

    1) We get shot-tracker (full) back this week, yes?
    2) Hey, my man Seabass won this last year!
    3) Congrats to tim for winning BIF’s NFL contest

The Scottish Open is going to be EURO’s event this week and it will have a lot of the bigger European names playing, like Tommy Fleetwood, Bernd Wiesberger, Lee Westwood, etc. Originally it was going to be a test event for allowing fans again, but due to increasing COVID cases in the UK, Scotland decided to play it without fans. Still. it’s a big-money event for EURO and should be fun.

Will that translate to bigger DK prizes I wish but probably not.

Just made a lineup for the Sanderson’s farms…its like a who’s who of everyone I don’t like to roster. However you have to take a stand with this type of field. Scottie Scheffeler coming off Covid at 11,400…

I;ve gotten a 5/6 every week since the restart with the EURO events just doing SE stuff…I have a good feeling about this one, which means another 5/6 is coming.

Hey guys, I just subscribed to RG premium for golf and i like it but i had a question for you all bc it seems like you guys do well and may be able to give me some solid info..

Where is the best place to find information on Course information? What i mean is: “This course is best suited for long drivers”, “you have to be able to scramble to play well here because the fairways are small and greens are tough to hit”

Just wanted to get yalls thoughts on that

  • Kp24

Prices out, looking at course history, hard to get excited about anyone with just 4 years to go off of. Most guys swapped MC with made cuts. Carlos Ortiz the strongest course history with two starts and finishes of 4th and 3d

I kinda just glean this info from articles, looking how certain players played at certain courses and did well, a lot of articles like Ben Coleys or Steve Bamford will illustrate how a course plays and which guys it suits.
Also keeping your own notes is key, it helps me out a lot as I’ve played fantasy golf now for a few years and have kept small notes about each tournament.

thanks thunder, The moment I got tied and quickly took over first was a very intense moment. I played a ton of the late games (and I hope you learned the Ov/Un’s for the late games were far larger than the afternoon games). I had some slates with Prescott and Cowboys and some slates with Wilson and Seahawks. I had a winning set of LU’s giving me $1500 and Wilson to Metcalf brought it down to $500 but at least the sting was taken out of it by me getting the $44 happier meal.

RG appreciates your support. They have great dfs golf players and in the past have shared good info.

Experience, familiarity, golf knowledge are all helpful. I assume that within RG one of the golf guru’s has a blurb on the course. What stats they favor as predictive to the course. For years I used a free site that since is now a pay site, to give me a course overview. 4 years into DFS golf and I dont need it anymore. Its actually a good idea to take a view of the course hole by hole that explaines fairway bunkers and greens. You get an idea pretty fast (not saying the first few times you might think this is a waste of time)

    Yeah, it’s getting annoying.

Think he’s just someone who joined for the NFL happy meals and didn’t read the group title of “Rotogrinders GOLF” group.

I would feel better if the person would at least post sometimes.

As I can see it…He could have been doing a service for some of our members. We have several guys who love the chase for Achievement crowns and playing in another sport along with football gets you achievement crowns.

Happy Meal Sanderson Farms is Up. last week the second contest winner scores hi in the cup race, so your expectations might need to be lower for cup points. will get the cup standings out later.

For those that are missing the course history and current form guide that use to be posted on here before it went behind a paywall, go follow Timothy Frank on Twitter. He posts a link to a doc every week.

  • CaptainSycamore

I’m on here all of the time, and this is probably the first time that I’ve actually posted. I don’t feel like I know enough to “help” any of you guys who seem to know a ton more than me. Sure Jriesel315 probably posts to many small contests, but I kinda feel like its just a community thing. When its just US playing, one of US is guaranteed to win and its just low stakes crap anyways. That being said, I love this board, and the info as well as fun banter. Thanks for all that you guys do.

  • ifthethunder

The Happy Meal is just $1. Once a week. It is a community thing. The RotoGrinders Golf Forum League community thing.

P.S. Captain Sycamore, I’m not direct that comment at you. I can see you play in BIF’s NFL contest, that’s perfectly fine and good. You don’t have to play in the golf. And feel free to comment more whenever. Any given weekend, lots of us here don’t know much.

But you’re not constantly spamming my email and DK notifications box like Jriesel. So I blocked him. And all is fine now from my viewpoint.

  • CaptainSycamore

I certainly agree that whatever else you’re gonna do, it should at least start with participation in the weekly Happy Meal.
