I know this is off topic, so delete if not allowed, but how long can you sit on crowns before you have to claim them? I was thinking of holding onto a bunch from the NHL and NBA and MLB and trying for diamond again in November, but I just don’t know how long DK lets you sit on them unclaimed. Do they send out reminders when they are about to remove one of the sport categories that you have unclaimed crowns for?

It’s one month after a season end but it also consider regular season and playoff different seasons. So you have 30 days after the nba regular season then 30 days after the playoff for the playoff crowns.

    Do I dare?

I’ll play KSDT in one (of ten). It’s in my contract. But he’s not in my default lineup, won’t be in my Happy Meal.

On that note, LFN, I have a question for you, re: the Euro.

Matthew Fitzpatrick finished 14th here last year, so that’s fine. But he mostly plays over here. Should I be concerned about the weather this weekend? Or to put it another way: were the conditions last year similar to this, or balmier? (If you remember.)

Weather is a concern in EURO in my mind, but speaking in the broadest sense possible I feel like it’s nothing English, Scottish, Irish, Nordic golfers haven’t experienced in their past. Also, anyone who played the Irish Open last week (which had a frost delay on one round) will be quite aware of the cold conditions. Basically, anyone who’s done well at St. Andrews in the past (somewhat) or the Alfred Dunhill Links (which has St. Andrews as one of its courses) would be a good pick IMO.

I know this course is not strictly links golf, so it’s not an exact match to St. Andrews, but I think they may be somewhat similar. There are some trees. So I’d lay off the wind specialists. That however puts Fitzpatrick back into play. I like Fitz this week.

Thank you! For once, I am punting with two sub-7K gophers in your tournament Can’t work out any worse than when I try to go all mid-market and above, is my theory.

The weather for the Scottish Open will be a trip.

Wed Afternoon while these guys have practice rounds the wind will be a bitch. For some unknown reason the weather on Thursday and Friday will be benign. little wind small gusts. with a scottish mist on thursday morning. Saturday gets more interesting, with wind picking up 10 -15 miles an hour gusting and bringing more precipitation late. but that is suppose to come in the afternoon only affecting the leaders. Sunday will be a shitshow for golf with classic Scottish weather you always read about……Cold Rain Wind strong gusts.

So non weather golfers can make the cut then step in shit on the weekend. Last year the weather was easy on the golfer and they had a birdiefest. the course has been made tougher, covid has eliminated the fans making the rough where the gallary would be…. not nice.

I am rolling with Fitzmagic and Westwood. Salary saver Neil Fenwick and Gallacher. (3 Scott’s 3 Brits in stars and scrubs)

Edit: that is assuming the weather forecast is right and on time

One thing I re-learned (for the umpteenth time) last week; NEVER go up against Rob Bolton’s fades

Gordon fade last week and didn’t listen again so no 6/6

Had to totally re-do all my LU’s with five of my 16 gophers on his fade list (Gordon again, Garcia, Hubbard, An and Reavie)

Good news after the re-work I’m down to 12 in my three LU’s

Just hope it is truly good news for once

Winner: Tringale (only all in 3/3)

    Fade: Conners and Long

    Sleeper: The Duff

Not playing Euro this week but I’d probably pick Pieters to win

Storm Aiden has been and gone – I currently see no am/pm advantage.

Edit: Threw 5 $1 and 5 $2 H2H in the league if anyone wants to grab some action in low stakes.

    Winner: Cameron Davis

    Fade: Single LU doesn’t matter

    Sleeper: Adam Schenk

Hope everyone makes the $$$$ this week.

Cam Davis #2 for me this week :)

  • Getty33

Winner : Will Gordon. All that chalk from last week will be washed away and I’ll be on an island. I hope.

Fade : Corey Conners. Touts seem to like him, but I see a ridiculously inconsistent golfer who I want no part of.

    Sleeping : Wes Bryan anyone?

Euro winner : Gotta play Rob MacIntyre as the hometown favorite.

Good Luck to all of you

I’m usually a Corey Conners guy, but a guy trying to find his ball striking and a below-average putter? PASS. If touts are touting all the better.

Anybody thinking about running back Lahiri this week? Boom or bust kind of guy in the past. Nice couple of tournaments to start the season. Ownership-wise he will be low owned because of some of the names at his price. I don’t hate the play in a few lineup personally

I have about 10% of him so I should be a ton overweight on him in respect to everyone else, same with W Bryan.

Go to Achievements FAQS page for the sport you are wanting to know the deadline for and scroll to the bottom and click on the terms and conditions link.

    https://www.draftkings.com/achievements-faq#nhl

Down under participation rules, you will see the deadline to claim for that sport.

For example, the NHL Playoffs has this…

Fantasy Hockey Playoff Achievements rewards will be claimable until 30 days after October 4, 2020. Pending any schedule changes, Fantasy Hockey Playoff Achievement rewards will no longer be claimable after 11:59 PM ET on November 3, 2020.

    NBA Playoffs…

Fantasy Basketball Playoff Achievements rewards will be claimable until 30 days after October 12, 2020. Pending any schedule changes, Fantasy Basketball Playoff Achievement rewards will no longer be claimable after 11:59 PM ET on November 11, 2020.

    MLB Regular Season…

Fantasy MLB Achievements rewards will be claimable until 30 days after September 27, 2020. Pending any schedule changes, Fantasy MLB Achievement rewards will no longer be claimable after 11:59 PM ET on October 27, 2020.

When you wrote running back, I thought I was in the wrong thread. 😂
I have no idea this week so will use the same lucky darts I used last week. Throwing in Cink only cuz his son brings him luck on the bag. The other guys are all some sort of recent bias or past results that probably won’t work out but I put Zhang again this weekend. He faltered last Sunday but hope he learns from that for this week.

LOL Possible drizzle starting in 20 min., stopping 7 min. later.

I like the braveheart weather its beautiful Scottish evening the rain is coming straight down well a little to the left as well. I take it your ancestors were Scottish Nobles.

I got him at abt 9/40. truthfully my instinct is to pass on him based on the CH. but a few years ago I scored with him because he is was on a roll. I am hoping not expecting he goes 1 more week.
Lahiri is the reason I made another core and entered 40 instead of 20 LU’s

Winner : Im over ZJ in a close one.

List and Dufner as Winner/Sleeper – wow now that’s a Double Regression on Putting !

Both have popped up on leaderboards lately so hopefully they do it again for you but that pairing is way too stressful to follow for me on a real shot tracker this week.
