Seems like DK doesn’t give a hairy rat’s behind about PGA anymore, looking at the contests they’ve put out and no rewards for playing golf.

As far as player selection goes, there are a number who MCed horribly recently but have decent history here. Like Seabass. I’ll probably go back to that pond.

If I remember right they didn’t start achievements for PGA last year until Jan 1. Hoping that’s the case again.

That said, you’re right about the contest options. I know the Sanderson isn’t the most glamorous tourney in the world but come on DK. Also like Seabass in a bounce back. Burned me badly at the Fortinet and hoping I’ll get a little ownership discount from others passing.

I think Achievements have always run for 6-9 months starting no earlier than January and typically don’t include the Fall/Wrap Around Season. I’m sure the contest structure will take a big hit from the weak fields and NFL dominance, and that you aren’t wrong about DK’s lack of give- a -damn for PGA at the moment. It’s still come a long way to include Achievements with 25k iron man, Champions Tour, KFT, etc. More to be grateful for than salty about for us golf degens compared with 5 years ago.

You have more gumption than I jumping back on the Columbian Seabass. I’ve learned to brush off some MCs and reduce my recency bias a bit but man that was so bad, I need to see him look at least somewhat better than Smylie Kaufman for a round or two before I go back.

I don’t even see a salary for him so this must have happened way earlier than this source reported….too bad as I had him circled for this week

  • BIF

An $11K Burns sure looks strange as the top salary this week

  • MACKTYSON

    Mito for the win.

He does, but Burns also does have a 3rd three years ago and mighty nice recent form. That can be said for a number of top salaries though, and you can’t afford all of them in one lineup. I’m fading SWK, Triangle, and probably Will Z. because you have to eliminate some of them or else make a ton of lineups.

    Did someone say MME?

Not for meeeeeeeeeeee! 20-max is all I can handle. And I like it better when you’re at least contributing to achievements even on the weeks you get skunked. Right now I just have 3, but it’s likely I’ll get around to making the 20 just so I don’t forget how.

I think because I set the Happy Meal to run automatically every week, it does not send out notices like it does when it is not on automatic.
Not sure what to do but I think it would be hard to fill at this rate. Maybe I should set up another one? Maybe 50?

I guess wait until A.M. and see? I don’t know how much sending it out tonight will make a difference (guessing most of us are in N.A. timezones). But it’s all hard to predict, as you know.

I still got a notification – it got sent out shortly after the players/salaries were added

But not everyone does when it runs every week automatically. Had many others tell me this in regards to the weekend contest.

I still got an e-mail notice. It was titled….lottopapayo, your recurring contest Happy Meal by JimKronlund (PGA TOUR) #2 is ready to draft!

Weird, maybe it’s just our use of the term “notification”. I’m referring to the pop-up message on my phone/iPad.

I got a push notification on my iPhone when the Happy Meal got auto posted (right after salaries were up) but I didn’t get the email that I usually do when contests are set up manually (like I did with LFN’s Euro contest today or when Tim manually created the HM weekly).

If they have their mobile phone notifications on, they should still pop up (though sometimes easy to miss) but it’s the emails that don’t seem to happen.

I got notified through email and in the app when salaries came out

Maybe it depends on what device people are using.

  • MrBreeze

Going 40% Sunjae this week, he finally got some needed rest.

  • lfn1992

Not sure my bankroll will support MME this week, but if they had some decent contests it might be worth it. Unfortunately… they aren’t! They are basically winner-take-all. And the Alfred Dunhill links, as usual, is even worse.

I’ll probably do single-entry on both contests just to keep current. Maybe do showdowns.

  • cplatt87

Single lineup, playing Burns, Zalatoris and Mito and then spinning the wheel of random KFT guys in the low 6ks.
