    Where: Kapalua, Hawaii

    When: January 5th – 8th

    Course: Plantation Course | Par 73 with 3 par 3s and 4 par 5s | 7411 Yards

Last Year’s Winner: Jordan Spieth with a score of -30

    • This is a tournament of the previous year’s champions I believe. Last year, there were 33 golfers in this event, which included Jim Furyk, who didn’t play due to injury. This is also a NO CUT event.

    Coverage: Golf Channel in primetime.

Would you say Grace will be higher owned than Walker by a good percentage?

That’s a great question. I have more Walker than Grace myself but I see Grace being an easy fill-in toward the bottom.

Lineup construction will play a huge part in this too. If a lot of people go with one or two stars at the top then Grace will be much easier to fit in, compared to Walker.

Long answer short, I think Grace will be higher owned pretty easily but not sure how wide the gap will be.

    Maybe you misunderstood my comment…

I am saying it is easy to light money on fire…

Yes Tim and I would agree with that statement.
For myself I am ranked 39th overall in golf. Sounds pretty good right? Well overall I am not profitable in the mass entry category.
A top 3-4 win is needed to get ahead. That is no small task.

    Yall on Kody Gribble?

Yeah I have never understood why DK has the 150 entry limit. That birdie would have filled easily if it was a 50 entry limit or even 25, but I guess DK has some other motives.

I agree 100% with you and would have no issue if they did this.

This has been discussed a 1000 times. I have a better chance than a single Bullet but not much more. The math clearly shows you need 10,000 LU to have a real edge. Max enter a quarter LU and see how you do. Every Tournament has roughly 50 mass entries. There is 58k entries. What does it matter if 150 are from the same person. Would you feel better if those 150 entrants had a different name in front of them?

Never thought of it that way. Well played

Well That is why I gamble, I look for my advantage and go for the gold, hoping I can limit loses. You need the big win or a big pool top 5.

This is everyones reason to play.. We and the top pro’s recognize that single bullits are limited. Using multi LU’s Ive been knocking on the door a heck of alot more than the single bullet.

Hey Jim I sent a PM

Doesn’t it kinda suck that the Gold tier is for this no cut event? Man I wish it was a full field event.

Would you mind linking to some of the threads that talk about this more in depth? Would like to get some more detail behind it. I have been a casual player but am exploring the max LUs theory

    Regarding Cody Gribble

“The easy layout wasn’t friendly to us. Cody plays better on difficult, tight, demanding courses; he loves the challenge.”

IMO, not at all. Yes, he may have done decently in one or two tournaments this year but go take a look at the bigger picture. The guy barely made any cuts on the web.com tour last year. How is he supposed to stack up against the elite? He is lucky to be here…

Who is your under 7K cash play?

    Vegas?
