Anyone know their screen names? I’d like to hunt them down and go H2H against them. I’m particularly interested in seeing how Cynthia’s 94% win rate stacks up against my picks. I’m going to guess she’s not cashing in 94% of her GPP entries, and is instead preying on the weak in H2Hs

The best players in DFS will not go 94% in H2H even against weak competition.

I’m pretty sure Derek Carty is DerekCarty on DraftKings. Tricky.

It’s possible that screen name is not him or is somebody else with the same name.

maybe she profits 94% of nights?

I think it’s ridiculous for ESPN to show a graphic like that. It’s misleading to newer players and destroys credibility with everyone else.

Are we talking about the one they put up a few months back or did they do it again?

They show it whenever they have her on a show.

    Not possible.

This cannot be true. Someone please confirm that this was a one time mistake/misunderstanding.

  • Foreman84

Someone asked her about the win rate on twitter. She responded that she plays were she can win.

    https://twitter.com/cfrelund/status/600683344976838657

She had every opportunity to clarify. I do not know if they ever did an interview with her or not since every thread that she comes up in gets locked. She seems to know her stuff from the little I have seen of her. I would like to know more about her algorithm that she talks about for MLB if they ever do a podcast with her.

Not a one-time mistake. They have shown that multiple times and she even talked about it on the twitter link Foreman84 put up.

I’m not even sure what “94% in the money” means. I suppose you could read that to mean she’s only lost 6% of her initial deposit on DK.

  • Elz24

However she means it, its not how its taken. No one wins 94 percent of the time, now one wins 94 profits 94 percent of days

  • Bighodges93

    Her screen name is Cynthia94

Interesting. I don’t ever watch so didn’t realize it was an ongoing thing.

Has anyone else seen this since her first show? I too was under the assumption it was a one time thing.

  • jshackmann

Maybe her win rate is 94% in the FD matrices where there are 21 people and 20 cash.

I have played 232 days this year. 2 of those days, I did not cash anything. Therefore, I am in the money 99.14% of the time.

Maybe? Perhaps? Boy, it doesn’t feel like it.

Someone said her screen name is Cynthia94 so I’m assuming it’s something she takes pretty seriously lol

I happened to catch her segment tonight. They had the graphic with her credentials and qualifications but it didn’t say anything about her win rate. I’m pretty sure it was a one-time thing and ESPN learned a hard lesson.

Edit: Forgot to mention they recapped last night’s team on tonight’s segment. She had Kershaw of course. Her team scored 99 DK points. They said it was like 148/200 in whatever she played. It’s pretty obvious that they are acknowledging she loses from time to time.

The truth is she started with $10 deposit on both FD and DK. She got 100% match. She’s been playing two years and cleared 94% of it on DK on 90% on FD.

It could be Anchorman math. Half the time she cashes 94% of the time all the time.

  • ColonialRampage

Some poor ESPN employee with a crush on Cynthia has a 6% Win Rate.
