Kevin Na can potentially outscore keegs

Just looking at my lineups and contests; saw that me and DaGodfather have exact same lineup:

Tway, Leishman, Rahm, DeCham, Horschel and Koepka

A quick ode to PGA 2019

So the real season is upon us, a new chapter at last
None of this wrap around crap and it’s half assed cast

So 33 golfers become our titans this week
As we hope and we pray our 6 choices all peak

A sidebar to Kevin Na, you f’in moron
You are now banned from all odes, from this point on
I for one didn’t pick you, to play for me this week
I felt this course and it’s wind would expose you as meek

Instead of being a man you claimed a booboo finger
A fracture you say…While being a karaoke singer?
But you still got paid, like most pros do
I can’t wait to see you in Phoenix and hear them all boo

But enough with him as I’ll quickly close out
As my brain is ADD as I see my 2 year old pout
Because Daddy is at computer typing some jibberish in her mind
While she sits on the floor completely unconfined

So enjoy the new season and remember it’s quite long
You have to breathe occasionally for we all get some wrong
Don’t be hard on yourself as we’re playing for some cash
But not as much as Kevin Na who did a withdraw and dash

Wishing you all lots of birdie streaks and cash in 2019!!

The announcers just said Broogsey didnt pick up a club prior to going to Hawaii. a 4 week vacation from golf. If you and the godfather never read that anywhere, it was never talked about or written about. thank god I faded him.

I saw something about him taking some time off but not 4+ weeks. I was intrigued by him as he had a great finish here the first time then played injured last year so thought he might rebound. No biggie; I only have him on 2/4 lineups and it’s still very early in the week.

Agreed…. Bif and the Godfather are clearly working as a syndicate to skirt the 150 max entry limits…

As if its not enough to play the same lineup he has to draw attention to it and point it out…. that way when he wins the Milly maker in 2022 he can be like “hey look guys nothing to see here we even played the same lineup one time 3 years ago!’

85% DJ and 80% Tway… working out well so far. One off the optimal lineup (Merritt instead of Kizzire).

It was interesting to hear the players talk about the course afterwards and how different it is from other courses. It seemed like a straightforward bombers paradise but maybe needs a bit more thought then that.

Saw you up near the top – nice work, now stay there !

Know a couple guys who played there, they said the undulations are crazy in places on the course which is weird for some seaside courses but this is more cliff side like a jagged Pacific coast Pebble Beach location but a much bigger ballpark that is even more exposed to the wind – you can’t look away after a shot hits the green as sometimes it stops dead and on other holes it’ll roll to the other side of the green like an Augusta. It’s definitely a bombers course but also a ballstriker/shotmaker type skill is required on some of the more tricky greens/approaches.

1,2,2,5,6,16. 16th in the dogleg. know that it won’t hold being Thursday….. but better than last year’s Thursdays when i don’t have one of my 6 in the top 20.

    Good luck 👍

I have 3 of your 6 on my best lineup – Tway, Leishman and Woodland also have Bryson on other lineups but no Champ or DJ

So Kevin Na W/D from the pro-am on Wednesday along with Kevin Tway.

Out of curiosity did anyone hear or see anything about this Wednesday or Thursday before they teed it up?

Running third in the FedExCup, Tway was forced to pull out of the pro-am after a few holes Wednesday after feeling “like I was walking on a water bed.”

ICYMI, the players that have some sort of new equipment deals…

I didn’t get a chance to watch but about an hour or so of coverage today but the first thing I noticed was how sloped the fairways were… instead of roll outs you get roll downs lol.

Also saw DJ stick one pretty far onto the green and watched it roll all the way back and then off the front of the green.

No wonder Phil Michelson withdrew. He’d be super tilted and start hitting moving balls again

Yeah I got to watch most of the back 9 today and I was much more able to understand what I was seeing on Shot Tracker while I was at work. I understand now the whole “not a first timers course”. On one of the holes Bryson hit what was a seemingly terrible tee shot and DJ just said, “don’t worry you’ll be fine” and sure enough the ball stayed up and was in ok shape. Makes me happy I’m so heavy on DJ haha

Don’t own him but Keegan is going full-Keegan out there !

I don’t even remember him winning last season to qualify but I usually try to block him from my memory. I wish Jimenez would have rag-dolled him and Pepsi (Keegan’s caddie) when they got into that argument over Keegan’s drop/ball a couple years ago.

He ended up finishing better, but still, I don’t mind the bogeys from Keegan, it’s the 3 birdies and 0 eagles I’m disappointed about.

Still plenty of time, but he’s my only dud so far.

Kevin Tway gave the middle finger to that theory yesterday with his 7 birdie 0 bogey performance in his first competitive round ever on this course.
