This operation supply drop is disgusting. They want us to donate $2 to the cause but the only thing they’re giving up is $20 worth of fanduel points? 15% rake on all their contest taking millions away from their players weekly and they want you to donate to OSD while they donate jack shit?

They’re trying to make themselves look good and take pats on the back but in reality they’re not doing shit. Yeti will provide all the other prizes at no cost to FD I’m sure.

If FD truly gave a damn they would MATCH all entry fees but they’re not even donating a single penny.

And to think I just want to see a 100,000-man 100 max entry SAC FLY

  • Cpjttogether

Interesting take. I’m not sure how I feel about it yet. But ive seen them go all in on advertising and I’m sure they are investing millions in lawyers and lobbyist. I’m looking forward to when they decide to go all in on investing in there players. Thanks for the opportunity to donate though. I guess I could take a few bucks out of the 8 grand I have lost playing this easy game.

  • tvsfrink

I assume the OP is joking but I can’t tell for sure.

  • Stuffinglover

I’m not joking. Fd will make $88,000 in rake off of just 1 NBA contest tonight. Just 1! And all they donate is $20 worth of FD points? Fucking cowards.

  • tvsfrink

What are you even talking about?

“All entry fees from these contests will be donated directly to Operation Supply Drop”

A entry fee is the price it cost to enter a contest. This contest has a $2 entry fee.

Us players pay that entry fee that will be donated not fanduel.

The entry fees are provided by us the players not fanduel.

  • tvsfrink

    I give up.

This is maybe the dumbest rant in the history of internet forums, and that is saying something.

Have you thought that FD is giving the charity a platform for which people can donate? Dedicating their servers, software, etc…

Would you be pissed at a hotel for donating a ball room for a charity event if they didn’t also make a monetary donation?

  • Stuffinglover

On a $1 head to head fd takes 20 cents. So it cost like 20 cents to run a contest. So you’re right my bad. Props to fd for donating 20 cents.

Oh and if it depends if that hotel took in 250k in rake that night.

What the hell are you talking about?

You really have no concept. It isn’t about the tangible cost to run a tournament, its about providing a platform for the charity that they otherwise wouldn’t have.

I am so sick and tired of everyone ripping on the sites on whatever they do. Get over it. It’s called BUSINESS! If you don’t like what’s going stop fricken playing DFS! If your going to complain about anything and everything going on, stop playing! If you don’t like the rake, guess what???? YOU HAVE THE CHOICE NOT TO PLAY THE CONTEST!!!!

  • Gathman78

There isn’t even any rake on these charity contests. That’s what “All entry fees from these contests will be donated directly to Operation Supply Drop” means. I don’t understand why this is such a difficult concept.

  • Cpjttogether

people get mad when they lose. I threw a vacuum cleaner through the wall one time. I just sheet rocked over it. Its still in the wall. but its ok its just a rental. usa usa usa

Some thick headed simple minded folks around here.

Totally missing the point here. Fd is making bank off of rake like a shit load of rake and what they’re giving to the cause isn’t even equal to one persons $2 entry fee.

You are either trolling or next level stupid if you can’t see they are giving something very valuable.

Come on, what did money ever buy anyone?

    NEXT LEVEL STUPID !!!!

  • Stuffinglover

In the bud light free roll they give out like $500 in a fanduel credit every contest. There’s been 25 of them so that’s $12,500. Over the next month fd will give out $80 worth of fd points in the operation supply drop contest.

$500 a night for bud light.
$20 a week for supporting the troops.
