    This may be a really dumb question and I’m sorry if it’s been answered/asked before but I don’t really read these threads anymore. I also don’t see the info on the app.
    How come some picks I make show the lock button after and some don’t? Are only the picks that show the lock button eligible for contests?
    Again, I apologize if you have already gone over this more than once but I just started using the app yesterday.

    Nevermind I found the answer.

    Hey, FrancisBooth. The lock icon next to certain bets means that a bet is eligible to be made as a Lock Bet. Lock Bets are used to build streaks of a user’s most confident picks, hence the name “Lock Bet.” A Lock Bet is only allowed to be made on a bet with odds up to -140 as a favorite. Anything over -140 and the bet is not eligible to be made a Lock Bet.

    For contests, it varies. Some contests, such as the SharpSide Handicapper of the Month contest, covers all available bets in the app. The SharpSide Streak Contest that is currently running applies only to Lock Bets, where users attempt to build a streak of Lock Bets in an effort to win prizes.
