Where did you see anything regarding this? As far as I can see weather looks fine….
I giggled so hard at this
I don’t see much wind either for the entire tourney
Any data out there for how guys perform the week following a match play event? Specifically for guys (Rahm) that play into the final 4. I’m wondering if there is any hangover. Rahm is the crux of the week to me. Determining exposure to him and projecting his performance for the week.
That’s what I’m seeing too. I think the entire field will be in the wind Thursday
Accuweather says windy, with Rain on Sunday. But there’s a lot of time for that to change.
Edit: Re Tim post about header
I passed it along.
FD: Re max entry

Thanks, Do they have a quarter or a $1 gpp contest?
No quarter arcade on FD. Their $1 GPP is a 5 entry max and also a separate single entry tournament.
Anyone else having issues with editing projections on lineup builder? It seems to have generated PTS/K, but is showing N/A on the projections.
Back in 2009 Ogilvy & Casey were in the finals and then both went on to top 10 Houston (T6 & 1st respectively); and in 2012 Mahan won both tournaments, but apart from that most of the guys in the finals have either not played Houston or have missed the cut.
At least that is what I found in my brief research. I’m also not 100% sure if the calendar was the same for all those years with these events back to back.
RG Overall Ranking
Question here about cut making and just how often the situation I ran into actually happening. Last I got top 200 in the large small dollar contest on dk out of like 78k people with bozzelli missing the cut by 1 stroke bogeying 2 of his last 3 holes, yes, very tilting. I had points at .9 % and dechambeau at 10% which probably helped, but especially in a very good scoring week in terms of birdies and overall scores. Have any of you ever finished that highly with a guy missing a cut? I usually write off the missed cut lineups as ones I dont even need to watch over the weekend.
Appreciate the follow up @dunzor
My best finish with a guy missing the cut was 310th in the same contest, so it is possible. I got 5th in the birdie DK contest, would have done better if W. Bryan didn’t choke in rd’s 3 and 4.
If you get 5 guys in the top ten, you can afford to have one miss the cut. I don’t think I have ever seen an entry win though without all six. Hope this helps!
Just a thought…When you use roto grinders LU builder do you ever wonder who has access to that data same with TFF or any other site? Inquiring minds want to Know? And I am someone who really believes we landed men on the moon, because I saw it on TV somewhat live because it took some time for the radio signal to reach earth! I’m just saying if I had the capability to do the computational shit and do a site I would totally use it to my advantage just to get back at peeps that can actually do that shit!

They have several smaller $1 but no quarter contests.
Well, anything you put on the internet is no longer solely your property. So from that perspective, yes, I do believe that they have access and likely use that data. But, I also know that there a ton of people that use that lineup builder so I’m sure there is a lot of conflicting data. I basically use it because it’s a lot easier to use someone else’s program to spit out the 150 most optimal lineups according to my own projections than it is to build a system that can spit out 150 unique lineups.
I’m not 100% sure if that answers your question, but I took a stab at it.
Ton is a unit of weight measurement (2000 lbs US or 1000 Kg metric) so I am not sure how many people that is because everyone has a different weight? But if you take the average weight of someone in the USA that is only 11 people? Hehe!
The only year I have been able to find where Match Play was held the week before the SHO has been last year… The Match Play used to be held in late February except for there was 1 year where it was in like May or something for some reason
Tee times come out fairly early on Tuesdays most weeks. They’ve already been up for a while for this week.
Some random thoughts I’m having on this event:
Oh, did they change the golf optimizer to premium content?? It kind of looks that way.
I’ll go a step further. With the caveat of I don’t play FD, I could see a good strategy of taking some studs in the first half (Speith, etc.), and fading them in the second for guys that need to do well to make the Masters (CHIII).
One more Q, not sure it was answered: Last year, the max LU for the QA, was it also 50 LUs? Or was it higher?
