Good lord Mickelson looks like the super course horse here. Finished better than 20 every year going back to 2011 when he won it. Henley also looks like with 3 straight years of top 10 finishes.

A little off beat kinda question- but what contests are you folks who regularly post here weekly, gonna focus on for this week? I have reservation already in for the $12 single entree albatross but thinking instead of playing my normal multi lineup gpp plays..($3 birdie, $5/20 3 max entree gpp), I’m gonna fade all those plays out and put pure focus on playing qualifiers for Masters..fade the tourneys basically and go heavy qualifier buy ins for the crack at a milli. What’s your guys’ primary contest plays gonna be this week?

This is the start of Phil’s favorite time (stretch run) of the year, that’s for sure.

Looks like Thursday will be windy, above 15mph. Will need to continue to watch to see updated forecasts.

    Let’s do this

off topic but love that birdie for the masters is 20 entry max. That’s sucking me back in when I haven’t touched a birdie in months.

  • Cbed11

All in on Grayson Murray. 5 straight MCs but he has the motivation of Lindsey Pelas caddying for him next week in the Par 3 if he can win this week.

  • Chip403

DFS business is putting full court pressure on people who aren’t hip to the PGA game yet, but may have some intrigue in playing. I feel Masters week, will be an extreme boost to the sports popularity, and can easily see it holding sustainabltly to those who are currently still uncertain about.

Likly did that to get some more people in the $33 event who normally wouldn’t play it. I didn’t even realize it was 20 max… I already have 18 reserved might as well lock the other two in

Btw, to whodat2 who creates these threads each week for each week’s current tourney..does an amazing job weekly- check your messages if you haven’t and see this post first. Was wondering if we could get dual threads going to stay the course; and have the official Master’s thread begin. It only makes sense due in part that prices for Masters tourney are already out; and I feel many of us would like to discuss both this week’s Houston Open (this thread) and Masters, but would probably be better to keep separate in threads.

Thank you, and yes, I am going to make the Masters thread today at some point. A little more research is needed, as the cut rules are different, and the coverage is expansive.

Going to use my one week trial this week on FF… Who linked me to it ? Referred by ?

I think it was JimK but if not I will take it……………ha
    Good luck this week.

Elated that last week’s mess is over.

Wouldn’t be surprised if DJ announces today that he is going to take the week off just based on how he sounded in his post-Match play interviews. Although he is in the field he would not commit to playing and said he would make a decision on Monday.

I like that one too, easy to CASH… of course I will probably write that and the winner will be… Trevor AGAIN
JP’s 270 still sits as a great 4 days… He was really on back then and had that tilt to his putting. Right before he putted he would push his hands forward. Doesn’t do it anymore.

I think it would be smart of him to take this week off, don’t think he needs the tournament prep he is in good enough form. Take the week off and get to Augusta early!!

How do you guys approach this, play a bunch of different lineups hoping to land a couple of tickets. Or, go out it with one lineup x 10 entries hope to land 333$ worth of lineups ?

  • CJtheGrump

Maybe this week my most expensive golfer will make the cut.

  • astauty

I think i’ll have to play Phil this week, i really like him, just hope he’s not too pricey.

Response from DK regarding daut and CA having the same h2h LU against me at the PRO

    Hi Jim,

Simply having the same lineup as another player is not against the spirit of the Community Guidelines, nor does it automatically create an unfair advantage. Team – building a lineup, or a set of complimentary lineups which serve to work together AND executing a strategy that may create any unfair advantage over individual play is considered against the spirit of the Community Guidelines. Ensuring complete fairness in all of our games and maintaining the trust of our players is of paramount importance to DraftKings. We have built sophisticated systems to continuously monitor every entry in every DraftKings game. When a concern is identified, our Game Integrity and Ethics team thoroughly investigates the issue and takes appropriate steps to make sure all of our players are treated fairly.

  • Wander_Bread

Is it possible that these top guys are just using almost identical models based on maturity and so the best looking cash game lineups are being spit out the same in different models?
