Yeah I was wrong on best of 3

    Yah
They just tell the players what the rotation of holes is if necessary as it’s different every tourney based on what holes are close to where they are playing.

  • BIF

Well – at least that triple doesn’t cost me any more than the loss of ten for not winning.

That sucks man. I didn’t even include JB in my 30-35 man player pool. I just can’t trust the dude, been burned by him too many times.

With that said, I’m also the guy that continuously puts Ian Poulter in lineups so what do I know.

Said this early Friday morning…. for the ultimate jinx.

    You’re welcome Poulter owners!

  • BIF

Poulter is an easy guy to hate but that run the past two weeks was some of the best golf ever played other than his Saturday afternoon match last week.

  • noddy

Poulter has been playing well and he’s mentally tough. I like it.

  • Jamcclea

Wow. When’s the last time you saw someone make a triple on a playoff hole

Sitting 36th in $8 Best Ball on a single bullet with Hoss so drop to win $200 with Poults win

    Sweet.
I was 27th out of 35671 entries with 581.50 pts in the $1 $30K Short Game and won a lousy $20.00. But fun to watch.

  • Jamcclea

Ended up $17 ahead and snagged a milly ticket

side stepping over to the Masters thread….YAY MASTERS WEEK!

  • BIF

The good (lots of it this week):

    44th in $8 Best Ball for $175
Cashed 12/20 in the $4 Fore including 243rd so got $133 back for my $80 there.

    Grabbed 20 Milly tix
Went 54-4 in H2H with 444.5 points – congrats to Mizzou who was my only RG’er Forum loss

Won my World Cup Group of four with same 444.5 points lineup though both Yacht and Hunker Toe kept it close.

Lots of fresh powder for The Masters

    The BAD:

The Vegas MDF on Saturday killed 7 of my 8 6/6’s but I didn’t lose anyone else at least.

Stupid Fowler and his 73-73 over the weekend cost me at least $1200 as I bubbled in the $444 and missed out about 20-25 more Milly tickets on trains by 2-6 fantasy points. Just one more birdie by Fowler was $800+ difference.

…..but you lost your most important H2H

Question. I played a $ 25 single entry DU with a cashline of 408 and a $25 multi entry DU with cashline of 424. Used same lineup and split, obviously the single entry I won. That is a Huge difference . Is this normal? I think I will stick with single entry. There was 400 entries in multi and 800 in single.

  • MrBreeze

WTG BIF nice job, I was not even competitive in our H2H this week, that line up was STRONG!

I did manage to win the under 8K

Took 2nd in my WCG that was also really tight until the end (have a 1st & 2nd)

Have no idea how much or what contests I will be aiming for this week. Looking for suggestions.

Had my best golf week in a while. Cash lu scored 500.50 and crushed it, sweeping everything. It finished 30th in the large single entry $5 DU. lol

Cashed all 3 $8 best ball entries. Sadly, my $5 SE Caddie dropped to 51st today. I even cashed in the happy meal for the first time in a while.

I entered 1 milly satellite with my cash lu and snagged a ticket so I’m in.

I also finished 4th in a soccer GPP yesterday for $200 and almost an MLB squeeze gpp last night, finishing 17th.

Up over $350 for the weekend across the 3 sports. Great weekend.

  • JimKronlund

The second contest that was fun to watch was Tim’s H2H. I had a strong team and every time I got a little ahead he kept coming up right behind me. Literally all weekend long except the very end.

Congrats on the Happy Meal win Tim. Such a tough tournament to forecast.
I really had no idea who would come out near the top. I only did not agree with 3 touted favorites that did not make any sense to me.

Congrats to all the members that were happy with their outcome.

Thanks – yah the Vegas MDF hurt me but it was still likely a Top 10% cash lineup

For the Masters, how much do you wanna spend ? The 20-max $4 Fore will be popular but also a top heavy payout like the $20 Milly so probably best to stick with the single entry and 3-max if you aren’t investing too much.

  • mogan11

Well I didn’t fair to well on the weekend, but had some great seats to watch all of the action from, even if it concluded with poulter winning.

OOPS, looks like I am hoping for a train of 1 team in 9 contests in NHL. Completely forgot.

Thanks. .if you follow soccer at all but I was first in the big FD $4 after the early games for $700 and I held until the final minute of the stand alone late game when 3 guys passed (1 guy with same lu 2X) and I finished 4th for thr $200. Still happy but tough loss in final minute to get passed like that.

For MLB, I worked yesterday , I only played the early slate cause I made lus before work and then the late 3 game slate when I got home from work. I finished 17th but was close to taking it down. Nice to wake up to that this morning. What was crazy I was top 30 of the SE $1 for FD on the early slate too but sure wished I had that lu in a bigger gpp. Been playing 90% FD for baseball early on. Not much DK. Soon enough when time and can get a better feel for pitchers.

That same lineup netted me 10 milly tickets so not a bad little weekend.

Solid week thanks to Beau…had him 30% in GPP and 7/9 milly maker satellite teams.

    $31 for satty’s in the $1 and .25 won 17 tix
$101 in GPP ended up winning $300

Sometimes when they open up the second quarter contests I like to go all in on a player or a couple. This week went 100% Spieth and 50% Hossler ended up placing 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 24th, 24th, 27th, 30th, 37th, 40th

On FD entered $13 between GPP and sattys and placed 27th with a single bullet in the $5.55 for $75 and won another eagle tix for masters.

  • Tarheelwoody29

Not big $, but finished 2nd out of 3,571 on FD, turning $1 entry into $150. Needed Hossler to win playoff for 1st and another $100. On to Augusta..

Nice work Coop – we had a couple battles for Masters tickets – glad we both got a fair share of them.

You also nipped me in the FantasyDraft free roll where I do dishes 14th and you were 3rd ! We both had 7/7 but then I lost Vegas yesterday tonthe MDF while your guys stayed intact.
