He screwed me so bad. Had that 8 on the last hole yesterday. I’ll never play him again.

Seriously man… even if he’d have gotten a 7 and not a f’ing quad-bogey on the hole he would have been OK. Ugh!

I typically suck at Showdown… do I play some Showdown entries since my weekend-long ones are dead?

I think everyone on here knows the answer to the question. Including the OP.
But, I think I’ll try and resist entering.

I just fell in love with Salinda. Chip in from 39 feet on last hole to make cut.

Can’t go wrong with a Stanford Cardinal

    2019 NCAA National Champs

Salinda was clutch all week – finished 6th in Individual portion and then beat Texas’ Cole Hammer to help the Cardinal win the team National Championship

my 6’s in the $3 are 90th, 131, 303 and 427 of 11k. quick count has only about 30 6/6 ahead of 90th place. can’t help but think they will all move up well. nice to have a decent weekend watch. cantlay, berger, shelton in most. big shelton weekend would be nice.

  • ttucowboy84

I did 20 in the $8 and have:

    7/20 — 6/6
    12/20 — 5/6
    1/20 — 4/6

Could end up with a nice result. Glad to see others here in good shape heading into the weekend.

This Sunday is a smackdown BIF @ Whodat. I was wondering if either guy has an edge he can pass off to a degenerate gambler. IMHO this is going to be an entertaining high scoring affair with someone taking it at the very end of the game. But how is it going to happen?

Looks like I’m 5/6 thanks to Niemann but a lot of room for upward mobility on the weekend. Good luck those that managed 6/6

Same here! I never thought Niemann would be the problem. He was a lock for me at that price.

Ya it sucks but it’s just some shitty luck. He actually played solid (i mean he was -4) but he just never quite looked locked in around the greens (I guess I shouldn’t have discounted the Bermuda fairway/rough). I’ll go right back to him next time the course fits.

Sitting 12th and 45th in the 17000 entry $1 20 max. Both teams 5/6. Pathway to win with the 12th place team is pretty easy to figure out…if Lanto wins (and none of my other players fall off a cliff) I have a shot at winning as nobody in front of me has Lanto Bigger problem is next 10 teams behind me that have Lanto, 5 are 6/6, 4 are 5/6 and 1 is 4/6. So I gotta hope the 6/6’s with Lanto behind me at least one of their players fades out on the weekend and the other 5/6 none of their other players that I dont have dont go off.

To summarize, I have a chance to win with 5/6, but it’s not a great chance. I guess I should just feel VERY lucky I even have a shot. I only got 13/21 of my player pool through the cut. And a couple of those were highly owned. Had Wise at 50% ownership and Poston at 45% and Reavie at 45%. So yeah most of my other 18 teams are trash at this point.

  • hbomb57

Only played 1 LU in 8$ and that’s a 6/6 along with one that I have in the Happy Meal that is currently in 11th. Most of my golfers are 3 to 5 shots from the lead so I guess anything could happen. Well see.

I really got in to Golf over the last season. Mostly a single bullet guy. I have been making a line-up each of the last couple of weeks to keep current in what is going on on the old PGA Tour. Almost forgot to play this week and got in the $5k mini-max and a single entry. went with a horses for courses approach, didn’t really dive into research and have a 5/6 sitting in 13 place in the mini-max. Hoping for a good sweat Sunday afternoon after some early NFL action

  • lemke086

I got 14 of 15 in my player pool through for 15 of 20 6/6. Dammit Bubba if only you could’ve made birdie on 18 yesterday. Could’ve been perfection. Oh I’m definitely not complaining, this is the best I’ve ever done. Exited for the weekend!

  • Dunzor

Shelton looking strong in the early going today, that’s gonna be big for me if he can make a charge and go low

Damn, looks like he missed a 4 footer for the streak.

It was disgusting for me how some of these guys performed the 2nd day. Not sure I’ve seen so many collapses…

im starting the day barely off the cash line and barely 10,000th

    FInau (t56)
    Morikawa (t11)
    Scheffler (t21)
    Wolff (t56)
    McCarthy (t36)
    Lust (t56)

That’s about as shameful of a 6/6 as you can have but in a tournament with this many birdies, a wild leaderboard, and this much cut carnage i think i can still crack the top 1,000 or so if my guys don’t totally bomb. I went with high birdie/eagle guys to just try to rack up points on a gettable course since i figured predicting the leaderboard would be near impossible and i had no time to research this week.

If I’d run a couple variants could have been a big week.

The Happy Meal fared fairly well as I think we had 6 of 75 entrants in the main one field a 6/6 lineup. I will be collecting points for the 4th straight week in the Happy Meal. I’m grinding the Fall Circuit hungry to rack up early Fedex points to earn my tour card.

Actually a cool idea for the Happy Meal would have been to assign Fedex Points to the standings…. 500 points for a win…. use the same playoff scoring system, cutoffs, etc…
