At least Kevin Na withdrew before the tournament started this time.

Yeah I had him in one core. Reminds me I need to turn the 3 into 20.

    Spanish Open

I am calling it a Macau LU. 5 spanish golfers with an American Chinese sir name. Its definitely a gamble. Rahm @ 12300 seems over priced but he is arguably the best in the world right now.

5 more needed for the Open de Espana Happy Meal.

What’s up, guys? Any interesting golf DFS discussions going on in here? I see you just cracked the 2nd page.

The MiniMax contests for the Shriners…. don’t look too bad? Of course the EURO contest ones are still poop.

      2017 FanDuel WFBBC Finalist

    This week is value town.

Harman at $7600, Rickie at $7300, Poults at $7000 (?!?).

    Love balanced builds.

  • lfn1992

I really, really want to MME the EURO event. But spending $5 in the QA for a potential $30 top prize? Simply not worth it. Maybe if it had a $100 top prize I might take a stab.

Sam Burns or not Sam Burns? Form here isn’t great, but prior versions of Sam Burns aren’t as good as the current model. OTOH, there’s the back-to-back win odds to factor.

I’m coming down on the side of including him in a swap or 3.

What do you think of salaries this week?

should we follow DK’s pricing, which seems to indicate out with the old in with the new. I find a lot of established talent, who are suspect in the last years performance are devalued this week.

Rasmus Hojgaard at 7100 seems interesting. him and his brother won in back to back weeks on the Euro tour recently. (not for me this week but I am still going to follow a bit).

    Shriners Las Vegas Open

This would be a good week for me to take a vacation to Vegas. Golf/Bears/Casinos.

Winner: The Ancer Is… (hope he wins but expect a top 5)
    fade: Brooks
sleepers: I have a list, but I am not moving down in salaries. So I will say take the Chileans as a pair.

I tend to stick to the winner hangover theory. He also had an emotional press conference about his nephew (sister’s son) in hospital the past couple weeks with spinal meningitis. Seemed to be heavy on his mind Sunday, so not sure if he still has that as motivation, or else he’s mentally exhausted. I’d lean the latter. I’m in camp “not Sam Burns.”

Aside from comparing my own player rankings vs. DK rankings (price), I also compare DK’s rankings to FD’s rankings. You can also do the Vegas comparison, which I think used to be on Noto’s First Look page.

Top 5 values of DK compared to what FD thinks:
    Poulter
    Harman
    Mito
    Leishman
    Fowler

Also, priced too high on DK vs. FD: Cameron Young and Joseph Bramlett

Not that FD knows something DK doesn’t, but just kind of gives me another set of eyes to throw into the mix.

I think Brooks is also overpriced, based on all three of the above comparisons, which makes him easy to fade with him also being the highest salary.

NFL taking time away from golf this time of year keeps everything smaller probably until the ToC in Hawaii

Been playing three entries in the Hybrid for $500 to win which is just as well since I’ve had a horrible start to the new season

I did get a huge turn around thanks to the league contests Sunday though

Second in the PGA Weekend golf

Second in the NFL Happy-er Meal

    Second in the NASCAR race

    Here;s to re-newed hope :)

PGA (not picking fades anymore due to bad karma I think)

    Winner: Louie Louie

    Sleeper: Sloan

    Rolling the Vegas dice

    EURO

    Winner: Kawamura

    Sleeper: Whitnell

So Poulter was on Katrek and Maginnes today on PGA radio. Said he played 9 holes this morning and didn’t remember anything about the 9 holes when asked by them what he thought about the course.

Believes -20+ will win both this week and next week. Had some interesting info/stats regarding the Ryder Cup explaining why that got drummed. They talked about him possibly being a captain down the line maybe for Bethpage in 2025.

Edit: Said he chose this week due to being able to play also next week and get b2b weeks in the same city plus even though he only played 3 matches he was exhausted after the Ryder Cup and at 45 he needs a little longer to recover.

Just peaked at wind finder. Friday afternoon steady at 20-22,gusts26-33. Could be a train wreck, golfers trying to make cut. 70% of my golfers are in this am/pm wave. I will look again in morning, before changing. Atleast we have couple extra hours.
