I’m sure the majority of us have little things that irk us on individual sites, the kind of issues that probably don’t warrant their own thread, but can be annoyances none-the-less…so I thought maybe it would be cathartic to have a catch-all to vent and maybe it can even prove productive if reps stumble in and read these…

So mine, which made me think of starting this thread…

I hate that I can’t just reserve entries on FanDuel.
It’s likely just an extra 30 seconds or so, per sport, per slate, but creating those dummy lineups always seems like a hassle due to the fact that every other site lets you do it with the click of a button (maybe two ). And it can be even more annoying on smaller slates when you get the “Invalid Lineup” prompt…Why can’t I just hit a single button!!!

So that’s one of mine, everyone else can feel free to share theirs…and if not, well o guess this thread will die off quick, but at least I got that off my chest…

I don’t have too much to complain about actually. The one thing I have come across on DK that I struggle with is exporting lineups to certain contests. Maybe it’s me but there are times when I have reserved entries with no lineups that I want to export from lineups I’ve built. The problem is I’m never sure which contests are the ones I have lineups in and which contests are the ones I don’t have lineups in. I’m talking about desktop here because mobile seems to work better for managing lineups I think.

I guess I’ll take a little time to complain about contest sizing (more specifically NHL again). This was just an example recently but there were the 2 games in Finland and they just butchered contest sizing because some of the 3rd gens I saw were bigger than the 1st gen. I know there is a fine line but I think there is a minimum threshold that will fill no matter what (I’d say maybe up to 1000 entries maybe give or take). In general there have been some “better” NHL contests this year but we have still yet to get that consistency we’re looking for.

Nothing is worse than Fanduel not having any sort of matchup blocker or limit to how many H2H’s can be scooped by one person. Their ‘solution’ is to just put out a few at a time? Great, so I get to spend all day long, putting out a few at a time when they could easily set it up like other sites do.

I wish that FD automatically hid contests that I wasn’t eligible for (ie beginner contests). It’s really annoying when you bulk enter contests and accidentally click on one beginner contest, which essentially voids your attempt to enter all the other contests.

Fanduel- not having a CSV to see all contest entries in big GPPS. They’ve been in operation for 5+ years and still haven’t implemented this

Draftkings- Not letting users back out of a contest as soon it fills. Fanduel and DK both don’t allow you to withdraw within 15 minutes of contest lock but DK takes it a step further by locking you in as soon it fills regardless of how far out lock is. That is really annoying.

The fact that FanDuel does not let your H2H opponents be limited is probably why I only play cash games on DK now. Seems to be something that isn’t all that challenging to implement given the main competition is already doing so.

Yes, this is really dumb, especially because it seems like they’ve partially tried to solve it but they did a half-baked job. First, single entry GPPs that you’ve already entered don’t appear in the lobby, so that’s good. And, ever since a little while ago (maybe earlier this year?), the lineup you create for the contest you can’t enter is saved, so you can “import” it.

Fanduel desktop contest screen. I hate it.

Also the Ads surrounding the DK screens on desktop. Sick of accidentally clicking a little to far off the screen and getting sent to Papa Johns website.

I play on FD and I really wish that I could sort live entries (in the view by live entries tab) by sport, start time, high score, or completely “concede” LU’s that I know are dead. Zero sorting options here! Nothing worse than a few (or many in my case) dead golf LU’s that run for 4 days clogging up the pages of single day slates that I want to see. I still don’t understand how they display contests nor on what page? Is it by time of entry? Is it by entry ID? What determines that ID across sports? Why the hell can’t I sort them how I want!!!!

Yes, that. I love seeing my FanDuel live winnings shoot up, then I’m frantically flipping through the pages trying to find which lineup is near the top, but inevitably my winnings drop back down before I can find it.

Also if I want to get my entire history on FanDuel I have to separely click and download like 50 CSV files. Cmon, get it together.

I too hate that bright white screen. Why can’t they implement a “night mode “ or even custom skins.

Draftkings player swap, will only let you swap a player of equal or lesser salary.. It SHOULD let you swap a player for more salary and only apply it to the rosters that have enough salary to fit it.

This. Yahoo and DK both hide No Veteran and Casual contests once you’re no longer eligible to enter them. Leaving them in there is unnecessary clutter.

FD and DK both, filter live contests by slate would be fantastic and seems like it would be really easy to do. DK basically has every option EXCEPT by slate

Funny. I actually prefer the brighter screen opposed to DK’s darker screen. My biggest peeve with DK is when I pop up a players profile I HAVE to click on the X to close it whereas FD I can just click anywhere but the pop up.
