I’ve read that even large sportsbooks like DraftKings and FanDuel will do this if you win too much money. I’ve ran up a decent balance on both and am scared of being limited or banned entirely. Does anyone know approximate thresholds for those two sites or is this arbitrary/judgment call by management?

    arbitrary

there’s no specific amount and i don’t think you’d get banned from those books. Limited though, yes, if they think your action is sharp.

What do you think they’d generally set a limit at? I’m sure it varies, but from my pov, if I’m unable to wager at least $100 or so per bet then it would nearly be a waste of time for me.

    it depends on the market

for DK I can bet a few hundred on major markets but for props and stuff like NASCAR, it’s less than 50 bucks

Do you think you’re being limited to that or is that the default? I guess I’ve never tried to go much higher than that (a few hundred), and not sure I want to place an extremely large wager just to test it lol.

I know I’m being limited as when I first started there, I was able to bet more.

If you keep a big balance you can discover the limit of any bet.

Just type in like 10,000 and it will reject it and tell you the limit.

Ah ok, makes sense. My balance isn’t quite that high as I have withdrew here and there because these are foreign waters to me and I am a little skittish about having a lot of money in there. Appreciate all the helpful responses!
