I have just about everything I need as far as players and teams stats etc down. What I can’t seem to handle though is importing NFL lines into a spreadsheet. I am using Google Docs for my spreadsheet, and have been using importhtml to get all of my data into the sheets. Every site I try to import lines from has one issue or another though (ex. spread, total, and money line all in one cell) which makes the data basically useless for me.

I read this article here: https://rotogrinders.com/blog-posts/using-spreadsheets-to-maximize-roi-in-college-football-204206 which links to this excel doc here: https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=1AC611BB4E59DE8B%21126

I would like my data to be layed out in a similar fashion. So I can have just point spread in 1 cell, total in a different cell, team in different cell, etc.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks,
    Ken

Try copy/paste from RotoGrinders Vegas Odds and Lines page. Shows up clean, everything in its own cell if I copy and paste into a sheet (excel) You might be able to set up import html with the page, not sure if it will import with the right formatting but copy/paste works. You can also do a google search on splitting data from one cell into their own cells, pretty easy with YouTube tutorials. Research vlookup for pulling information from multiple sheets into one usable sheet you are looking for.

LOL, I have spent HOURS looking at every possible site trying to get this to work, and the answer was right under my nose the whole time. importhtml worked flawlessly.

Here is the function code for the NFL in case anyone else wants to use it: =importhtml(“https://rotogrinders.com/schedules/nfl?”,“table”,0)

    Thanks Alot, ComicFx!

I too have been trying to figure this out for years. table,0 doesn’t work.
at least not from the odds page.

Anyone from RG know why the NHL lines/OUs/team totals don’t appear anymore on their starting lineups page? https://rotogrinders.com/lineups/nhl
