Did anyone else get this email from Stars Draft saying that Florida residents cannot play anymore? WTF? Is this a site specific thing or a harbinger of things to come?!?!?!?

  • evil333

Yea but I want some diversity and the overlay available on the “smaller” sites…sites like aces abd feud have been around a while and the new draftpot…all offer different type of games loyalty programs and oberlay…I don’t want to he held over the coals by the big dogs only! We call that monopoly and pretty sure that is against some legislation as well….

These new sites that restrict players from playing, fcuk them….stick to DK and fanduel, that’s where all the action is at anyway. If someone told me I can’t do dfs anymore, I would flip the hell out cuz this is my salary….GTFO with this political garbage

If this all goes under. Send me your resume. I’m looking for a smart-mouthed dishwasher.

  • Taterchipdip

Ryazan could be a great dishwasher for you Poonwhipped, since he already knows how to “cleanup” in DFS.

He would be a fool to quit DFS since it pays a whole lot more than a dishwasher. DFS is here to stay.

Can someone from rotogrinders or from the sites let us know if contacting our congressman and senators is worth our time? Or should we just let the lobbyist do that?

Draftkings expected this, which is the reason they hired Ballard awhile ago. My buddy is a lobbyist At Ballard, I’m going to reach out to him and see what he says about this mess.

I’m guessing it will all pass, since DK has been making the proper political contributions.

  • deadphish

    add fantsydraft to the list

  • DefinitelyMiami

Not able to enter DK contests today anyone else having issues?

  • Gettinguap4

Got the email from fantasy draft. DK and Fanduel is still good to go for me defintelymiami.

  • ZenBeats

So disheartning. Received an email from fantasy draft today also. Florida politicians are so corrupt and scare old people every voting cycle to keep voting for them. Guess I’m moving back to Cali lol.

  • bigperm0107

I am going to miss fantasy draft. I enjoyed it there. I hope it doesn’t get to a point where they all get shut off to Florida

http://www.mypalmbeachpost.com/news/news/fantasy-online-sports-betting-getting-closer-look-/nn2nC/ according to this DFS should have nothing to worry about in Florida.

“But this month, an insider-trading-like scandal hit these fantasy sports companies. An employee of DraftKings used the inside information he had on betting patterns to make a bet on the rival FanDuel site and win $350,000.”

If he did nothing wrong, DK should fund a defamation suit for Ethan.

  • MrWorldwide

I think I will also contact Sen. Rob Bradley of Fla R-Fleming Island

The writer of this article states:

Here the writer states that Ethan “used the inside information” to win, which to my knowledge hasn’t been proven. Let alone just knowing % owned of the player pool doesn’t give u the winning lineup.

There is no way they would open up themselves to that.

What they should have done is fired him immediately.

But they did say FD and dk were lobbying pretty hard and with the casino deal expiring that DFS in Florida anyway should be pretty safe.

Lol I would not want anybody with the last name Bush to have any input whatsoever on dfs behalf

I am a south FL resident and just got a message when trying to enter a lineup tonight that Yahoo Sports Daily Fantasy no longer accepts cash game contest entries from Florida residents. I have some Thursday night entries live so this is a very recent change. The apocalypse is upon us…..

Contact U.S. Attorney, A. Lee Bentley, III, and Pam Bondi, to let them know how disappointed you are by this.

  • bigperm0107

I just got an email from yahoo dfs saying they are no longer accepting Florida residents.

  • bigperm0107

I emailed Pam Bondi, this is BS! They think they know what is best for everyone and are shutting dfs down yet she can’t even manage her own personal life. I found this while searching for her contact information…“Bondi married Garret Barnes in 1990, and they divorced after 22 months. In 1996, Bondi married Scott Fitzgerald. That marriage ended in divorce after 6 years.

  • WuChef1986

Ditto , dk and fd will be gone any hour now
