Daily fantasy Tennis is just like Nascar contests. You never know when a player is going to crash out and wreck your whole line up. But you know its going to happen….

  • someclevername

Ouch – did terrible. Goerges, Siegemund & Lopez all sucked + a Sasnovich 0 on top.

  • OttawaCityMadman

Looks like Vegas missed today today ,lol. Right now they are 8 for 14 calling the favs. Sightly ahead I guess

  • Bustercherry33

I now know your pain haha :) I am now officially DONE with tennis after getting hit with the nice zero for winning the walkover. I had Sasnovich, the girl that WON and gets 0 points. NEVER understood why every event isn’t a late swap, I know I have spent a lot less so pretty sure not the only one haha. I am still in the money, it will be close now bc she was my last but don’t matter F this bs. She sure is HOT as hell by the way hahaha.

holycrap. Cashed in 2out of 4, with only 3 winners in each.

  • someclevername

At least Mayer beat Schwartzman lol I can let that go now.

    I think I have a shot at a top 10 in the $1 1K if I get a decent score from Busta…fingers crossed

Busta obviuosly crapped the bed, fnished in 35th. Still much better than some of the crap that went down today

    Anyone see any good value?

  • skleni

    Maybe Linette….Head2head looks quite good.
For the semifinals it’s probably worth it to go super contrarian…Isner and Bautista-Agut so highly owned

Big tourney tomorrow but still not available for drafting. weird….

  • Undrafted

I know. I’d love to draft a couple teams before start time. Any minute now.

  • cubsflan

They going to release the matches yet? Like to put my team in before its bedtime just like everyone else I bet. Not getting up at 6 am to put tennis teams in lol

I guess it’s something we’ll just have to get used to. They can’t post slates until the order of play is set, and Monday’s OOP is never set until the Sunday qualifers are over.

It’s not just Mondays, either. In the majors there’s almost always a day off for everyone, but after the first round in these shorter events each day’s winners are meeting the following day and the slates are going to go up late. We might have some quick turnarounds when tournaments are running on both coasts—play in San Jose might not end until 2am DC time and we’ll be starting the next morning at 11.

There’s terrible and there’s terrible: I went from 4th/1902 on Friday to 1157th/1189 on Saturday. From 454 one day to 110 the next; I wouldn’t have thought a 110 was even possible.

But like they say, if you aren’t going to cash in a GPP you might as well finish last. It’s hard to believe I didn’t, but there were probably 30 people who reserved but never filled their lineups.

  • strassnerte

These first round matches are always tough. It is basically this guy that can’t win a match against this guy that has only played one previous ATP match.

  • strassnerte

Hibi, Lacko, or Ivashka for my last pick? I really like my other picks and it looks like these three slight underdogs are my best options left.

  • strassnerte

I think Bogdan is the best cheap option. She is definitely the underdog, but she is decent on the hard courts and this is not Makarova’s strongest surface.

Of those three I like Lacko the best.

  • bookerman102

I like Lacko the best of the 3.

Really liking my cash game lineup today. Only 1 underdog (according to vegas) and 3 over -200.

Be wary of odds, I recommend looking at odds of a 2-0 straight set victory, unless they are around -250 or above, anything else should mean a relatively close match as I have found out since tennis has been rolled out on DK

The problem I’ve been finding though is that anything above -250 really takes away from a balanced lineup. I have 1 today who is above -250 and that’s only because the odds are too good I couldn’t pass them up. What site do you use to find the odds of a 2-0 win?
