Daily fantasy Tennis is just like Nascar contests. You never know when a player is going to crash out and wreck your whole line up. But you know its going to happen….

  • GoldenWolf87

Quite a horrible performances by Pauline Parmentier and Petra Martic,Sloane Stephens cost me some of my lineups the universe just loves to prove me wrong lol. To think that Jan-Lennard Struff is also now crushing is just a bad play.

  • GoldenWolf87

To Think that J. Chardy was a cheapest underdog i would gone with him.

  • GoldenWolf87

It seems to be the year of the underdogs for Tennis to lol.

  • OttawaCityMadman

yeah. 75 from Sevastova. Heish was good for the same. Pilskova up next for me….

  • GoldenWolf87

Venus Williams loses her second set lets see if she will break out or crash.
Maybe i am speaking to soon.

  • GoldenWolf87

That was a nice sweat win lol.

  • GoldenWolf87

Maria Sharapova is way to expensive.

  • BrowInLockerRoom

  • sports667

  • OttawaCityMadman

  • Extravaganza

Any other multi entry players feeling discouraged after the first few slates of the year? Maybe it’s just variance.Maybe I’m overreacting. However, it seems like some of the top few players are dominating the top 10 of the main GPPs that I am not sure there is any value left.

Yeah i know prize pay out seems very small compared to MMA and other sports i know Tennis is new but last year prizes were better 5,000k.

  • Extravaganza

That’s very true, Goldenwolfe. I think the smaller prizepools and field sizes make playing harder (relatively higher % of strong dfs tennis players making lineups) and less rewarding (smaller GPP payouts like you said.)

This will be less of a problem once the slams come around, but it’s definitely something I will be thinking about for other weeks.

  • sports667

Welp this could be an early night. Tsonga already broken twice. 100 percent tsonga

GPPs tended to be smaller last year during the Asian swings—slates are starting too early in the AM to bring in European players and in the eastern US the sweat is happening in the wee hours, which reduces the attractiveness. I’m sure the slam will be better, but I’m not sure how much better. We’ll draw more players when the tours move to Europe.

Yes, that’s a shame—that would have been top 2% and won you some cash.

I also went 6/6 but only scored 405…that Vekic win was almost like a loss, with the 1-6 and all the double faults.

  • GoldenWolf87

Tennis is qutie tricky lol. Just make sure you dont make players that play at 5am or 8am if you want just one of them that you know they will win,or you win that pool, my picks yesterday weren’t so great. Last year i did well in Tennis.

Yeah that was a weird match Sevastova just decided to stop playing after the 1st set was quite tilting but that is DFS Tennis for you. So many upsets this week.

No article for me today contest are too meh and with the delays seems for a sketchy slate. GL all if you decide to play.

The oddmarkers were wrong with andy vs Daniil Medvedev. Now they are choosing Raonic over Medvedev? lol i dont know but it wouldn’t surprise if Medvedev comes out winning again.
Yeah today’s contest is a bit meh for me aswell.

I still think Williams will win agaisnt that Canadian player again could be wrong. I mean after all the favorite odd picks lost yesterday lol.

    Ernests Gulbis lost to Karlovic.
    C. Wozniacki lost to Andreescu
    Sigh lol.
