Finally another major to sink into. Bloody TON of ,matches the first day. Remains to be seen how many DK actually use. They have opened most of the contests today, but still no prices. There is no sched of play yet, I am not sure why? They might have some qualifiers to run for drops outs or something of the like. So we have to wait for the field to be finalised until we get prices and a schedule. But here is an early look at the odds. DIG IN!

    WTA

    ATP

I think the first thing we notice is the on the men’s side the overwhelming favourites compared to the woman’s side, no lady is over 9.5 for an upset. Simply means, no surprise to those that have bet tennis before, that the ladies are much harder to predict. But that is where we will find those 90+ scores we need to take down a GPP. The first 2 rounds you will need close or even over 500 fps to win… Look to target the gals in the 1.25- 1.35 range. They will be priced around $8.5k-$9.5k on DKs. You generally wont need any 10k+ players the first couple rounds.

The other day split first with 10 people. Fell like the winning LU today will be worse.

Yes there is no way to avoid multiple splits when there are this few matches to pick from, in the large me gpps. Even if they added a capt, it wouldn’t help much. Better yes.

If this goes five sets and Zverev keeps laying on the double faults he may not outscore Coric even if he wins.

  • yisman

    that match was a dud

the two guys combined for about 89 FP

  • JH822547

So the loser Shapavalov scored more than Zverev and Carreno Busta who won.

    a shame

I have PCB low owned (25.2%, which qualifies as low owned for this slate)

Ha. I did a lineup with both in it. Will see what it ends up with. Serena isn’t going to be in the 60s either…

    75. Turns out she’s the second-highest score of the slate so far, behind Brady but ahead of Osaka.

At least I think that’s right. DK’s having trouble with their stats stream today but I think the scores are correct, just slow to post.

    Mertens. Ouch.

  • yisman

Mertens just eliminated me from cashing in the $222

    what a dud

    4 FP or something

  • JSteele

I hope no one actually bet Mertens when I said that the other day.

    I apologize

Yes, and Kitzbühel being played at a higher altitude than the standard tournament (usually helps the server, similar to the tournament in Bogota, I think..)

cool. How is Bouchard priced more than the #1seed. Has she won a non qualifier match in the past 2 years? lol Joking, I did see she is playing a little better this year.

if Schwartman and Pella lose we’re really in the mad house.

    Fognini says hold my beer…

  • JH822547

I’m actually on the right side of the Fognini match.

Sorribes-Tomeo has completed melted my scone though.

Very astute observation above about the speed of the courts.

Lopez won 90% of his first serve points, it’s clay but not as we know it.

  • OttawaCityMadman

Good lord I got wiped. 1/6 for a big 154.

  • LegiaWwa

Quite the 8 game slate tomorrow, not a single favorite over -200

He is just coming back from surgery on both ankles…he moved like a 65 year old.
