Tomorrow the tournaments in Washington (ATP and WTA, hard), Los Cabos (ATP, hard), Kitzbühel (ATP, clay) and San Jose (WTA, hard) get underway.
The week on dk starts with a 50k Line Painter (last week the contest on Monday was 40k, really excited to see DFS Tennis grow week by week).
Good luck to you all!
Just started playing Tennis 2 weeks ago and actually really like it. It’s kind of nice to get away from just baseball and try something different. I had a good 1st week, not so good 2nd week and look forward to this week. I wish FD would have something the 1st couple of days because I actually like their scoring better but it’s nice to have DK to start off the week.
Good luck everyone!

I am excited we get more tourneys in the states before the push to the US Open, a little bit later start times and more hard court!
Hoping the prices come out soon. Hard to make lineups monday mornings for a lot of us.
Looks like a lot of close matches according to odds. Prices should have a ton in the mid range and not a lot huge favs

They went from 25 to 24 matches, must be waiting for times for all matches to be official before they put the salaries out
Goodluck figuring this out. Odds are close for mostly everyone
This is three weeks now that FD hasn’t put up a Monday tennis slate; does anyone know why? Or even have a theory?
I suppose they’re doing me a favor—my first-round results have been pretty bad for some reason and they’re just keeping me from another lost entry fee. But it’s still odd.
A lot of people drop out in the first round. It causes a lot of headaches. I thought I heard FD wont put up a contest for the first round.
My early lineup has a lot of Russia and Czech in it. The top seems to be pretty solid except for Sakkari could get upset.
I think the most credible theory is that player withdrawals are more common in the first round, so Fanduel has not been running contents on Monday or Tuesdays. I definitely don’t know for sure.
What I do know is that this will be an ugly slate. There are lots of matches with unreleased odds here, so I expect there will be some huge mispricing and chalky plays. The main culprit I have my eye on is Tsonga vs. Schnur being priced as a toss-up, but others will likely pop up.
Wouldn’t cause a lot of headaches if draft Kings allowed late drops.
If that were really true then it seems to me FD could go ahead and run a first-round contest.
Did anyone find some information about Coco Vandeweghe? I am sure she won’t be at 100 %, but even 90 % could make her a nice play today.
She played last week in some teams thing but hasn’t played in a year at this level. I wasn’t really considering her but I’ll look into it
I’m not excited about her with how poorly she played before she left along with her unfortunate combination of underdog status with a huge double fault tendency. That’s a lot to be fighting against, and it does not seem worth it to me with how many options are available on the slate. Might be worth a dart throw based on prior talent?
I considered it. Had her in a lineup, but then looked at her ranking. She was slipping down before the injury. And I dont like Boozekova either. I think its a match to avoid. Tsonga and Bouchard are locks for me today.

tsonga should just be put in everyone’s lineup then pick 5 from there
For real. He will probably be “only” 60-70% owned though.

If this slate had better high priced favorites I’d be all over CoCo but I just don’t see the need to spend down to pay up for a few big priced players this slate
Pro tip +. Its like a lottery pick day. Everyone is capable of beating their opponents today. Going to be easyy 6/6, of your numbers get drawn. ;)
Tsonga may be the highest owned today. Siniakova burned me last week but I think I’m going back to the well.
Tsonga is a stay away from me. Especially if he will be that highly owned. Even if he wins, Schnur can easily win a set against him. Scoring is so even, I would prefer a much lower owned player in that price range over Tsonga. Kasatkina, Tomljanovic, Berankis, Babos, Tsurenko are all worth a look in that range.
