Tomorrow the tournaments in Washington (ATP and WTA, hard), Los Cabos (ATP, hard), Kitzbühel (ATP, clay) and San Jose (WTA, hard) get underway.
The week on dk starts with a 50k Line Painter (last week the contest on Monday was 40k, really excited to see DFS Tennis grow week by week).

Remember when DK took shots at FD for not having late swap in NBA? it’s now FD treating their customers with respect and DK telling everyone tough luck that’s gambling.

Just my 2 cents but I really appreciate FD taking the time to post here. While I was not affected in the Anderson situation FD stepping up and posting here to those that were speaks volumes. Thanks for the post and hopefully things work out for those affected as well as situations like this that arise in the future. Would have been nice for DK to speak up and because they didn’t I have already notified them that I will be closing my account after today’s games are completed and only play on FD. We all play DFS for fun as well getting some type of return on our investment in each game. We should not be subjected to “it is what it is and were sorry”. DK should have a late swap like FD and it’s not hard for them to do. Of course the Anderson match was one of the 1st games to play today so it would have been difficult to swap out the players even with late swap.

My pleasure! Back when I was able to play, I’d be on the wrong side of this stuff all the time and it sucks. Can’t do it in every situation obviously, but this one was pretty gross and we want to make sure as we’re rolling out our tennis product, people have a good experience and come back the next week.

Agreed. I wish we could get an early slate that includes the two European tournaments, too, but I probably need to recruit some more degenerates. There aren’t enough of us to go around.

They really don’t—they’re sitting on call in the players’ lounge.

My stars and scrubs lineup has a decent chance if I can get the scrubs to go my way. Most of them all play in the later games.

Raonic, De Minaur, Vandeweghe, Puig, Nishioka, Tsitsipas. Raonic likely has the high score of the day. No one else really had an outstanding score that cannot be replicated.

Interesting. Gotta say, before DFS, I only followed the 4 majors. Since then, I’ve learned 100× more about pro tennis than I ever knew.

And if you aren’t a top 50/100 player, the life is not very glamorous at all.

Im pretty happy considering my two Anderson LUs shit the bed even without considering his 0 so get those losses out of the way. I got my late bullet and go from there tomorrow.

I suppose not. But if you’re good enough to play in either of the main tours you get to truly see the world in way few careers allow. And my impression is that the players do have time to get out a little bit—we have volunteers handling player transportation and they aren’t just ferrying them back and forth from the hotel to the site.

You have to be pretty damn good to make the main tour, though.

Any chance of me cashing with 1 3 set loss? Yesterday seemed like you needed 6 straight set wins to even cash.

I cashed with 5/6 in the main 15$ and I came 5th in the night 15$ with 5/6 so yes its possible.

Tomorrow has some juicy pricing. Gonna be hard to differentiate with all the top plays in the 8k range. I might need to just leave a bunch of salary on the table tomorrow

yeah i had 5/6 and min cashed easily. got 2 $15 tix too so not too bad a night. helped because i didnt have anderson, sorry those of you who got screwed, i been there before.

So, you guys thought we’ve seen Isner chalk? First bookie I see has him as a -300 favorite and he costs only 8100. Also, there are only 14 matches on the slate.

The sky is the limit tomorrow. 50%? 60%? I don’t think I’ve seen much higher than that but I’m sure he will be a lock in cash contests.

Yep, Raonic and Isner tomorrow. Pricing is way way messed up. To win big tomorrow you’re gonna have to take some risks.
