Tomorrow the tournaments in Washington (ATP and WTA, hard), Los Cabos (ATP, hard), Kitzbühel (ATP, clay) and San Jose (WTA, hard) get underway.
The week on dk starts with a 50k Line Painter (last week the contest on Monday was 40k, really excited to see DFS Tennis grow week by week).

    Good luck to you all!

Did I miss something with Gauff, she was the most overrated on the slate out of everyone who was favored? She had terrible value based on her vegas line as well.

She seemed like she could have had a good shot at a big win. Diyas wasn’t anything to fear. I agree that the pricing wasn’t great, but I had 1 lineup with her. She seems like she would be able to have a few big games on a hard court, shes fast, has a great serve and plays the net.

I agree that she could have, and probably should have won today. My issue was her pricing. She reminds me of Tiger Woods in golf. She’s good, don’t get me wrong, but not worth owning at her DK price.

My last shot at a 6/6 needs Medvedev, Kyrgios, Keys, Tsonga and Zhu. The first 3 i’m not worried about but I will be Lin Zhu’s biggest fan if she can pull off a victory.

Edit: Maybe I need to worry about Keys

Rocking a nice 4/4 right now at 291.60 – Need big matches from Cilic and Kachanov…

  • callmetouch

Playing the degen late slate with 1 entry, Londoro/Johnson seem to be the chalk for that

  • Kassdog

4/4 right now. Need Tsonga and Williams to have great matches.

I’m 4/4 with 338.3 and Cilic and Khachanov left too.

Have me beat. Lets get it then, not looking so hot tho.

  • dw12290

    We still have a shot.

  • Extravaganza

This Khachanov v Tsonga match is a heck of a ride. Unfortunately, don’t think either of them will show up on the winning lineup at this rate.

  • Kassdog

5 for 5 right now. With only Williams left. To bad that Tsonga match went on forever. Would be sitting really pretty. Now hopefully Williams steam rolls

  • sportsnut11

Gotta love Kyrgios. He is his own personality. Is he a dick, yup. Is he entertaining. Hell yes. Guy makes me laugh with his antics. He could be Top 5 if he gave a shit a little more.

  • mccoolio

    6/6 and can’t break top 400…tough game

  • JSteele

It looked a bit like Kyrgios had a bit of a knee scrape there that was limiting his mobility. His power is still insane but I may take a shot on Simon in the next round.

  • JSteele

I need to research the full slate but a nice lineup with the super smash bros looks good (Isner and Opelka)

  • elmore0631

Really sickening to lose $ because Venus can’t beat this girl.

  • Yeoman

This would be Mattek-Sands’s first WTA singles win on a hard court since March 2017. She blew out her knee at Wimbledon that summer; she’s won a couple of clay-court matches since she came back but she’s 0-9 on hard.

Yep, kudos to her.. just sucks for my dfs perspective— her resilience this match has been impressive.

This has been an amazingly terrible day for big-name American Women. Stephens got stomped, Keys lost to a qualifier, Gauff disappointed, and Venus got grinded out by Sands. I guess Danielle Rose Collins could still make a run but sheesh.

I have a lineup with 375 pts plus Petkovic coming up. Choke, Brengle, choke!

  • sportsnut11

Thanks Johnson for fucking up the late slate. You and Dimitrov played a game of who could suck ass more.

Petkovic is a better hard court player. She has a good shot

Gotta hand it to Dimitrov. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen someone put up less than 46 fantasy points in a win. He only outscored Steve by 6…

Edit: Oh man, unbelievably bad start by Petkovic. Shame I even stayed up to sweat this one.

  • skleni

    Is Mladenovic a trap today?

Yeah that is rather pathetic. They are both playing just bad tennis. Either it is mental or they have an injury they are hiding.

Rain going to be an issue today? Doesnt look great after around 3pm for Washington.
