It’s too bad that the show won’t continue through the end of baseball, would have preferred that The Fantasy Network had chosen you all to do the daily show at 5 instead of the Fantasy Alarm guys. I’ve found you guys are much more reliable overall for advice and explaining why you are making their decisions. They spend more time on season long football and their top 5 lists during the DFS portion of the show.

Not sure what it will be like with Man hosting that Fanduel show, but think they made a mistake. I do have to thank you especially for the information you provided in your last show last night. It helped me have my biggest single contest win in the three years I’ve been playing DFS thanks to removing Preston Tucker in exchange for Marlon Byrd with like 10 minutes left before the lineups locked last night.

This happened last year for football content, I believe. Or maybe that was something else.

The show won’t continue? I’d imagine it would until football starts up

Very, very disappointing. Was taken by surprise when Dan announced that last night.

Aug 1 seems to be an unofficial beginning of the football season and I guess most of that channels’ focus will turn to football now.

Great job Dan, Chris, Justin, Dean and Al. Sorry if i’m leaving anyone out.

I was pissed last season as well. Will they run the RG Daily NFL show on Saturday night like they did a few years ago?

  • Ravenfan

Right, but then Jeff Mans made an announcement that his show will continue to start at 4 and he will also host a “Fanduel DFS” show at 5:00. Considering it’s called DFS and there are no football DFS games until September it seems The Fantasy Network decided to choose him to host a DFS show instead of the Rotogrinder guys.

To me that’s just odd, considering 90% of his show is him promoting their “Playbook Pro”, while Rotogrinders Live gives out information without requiring people to pay for it (they don’t push their paid content on people like Jeff Mans and Ted Schuster do). Wouldn’t you agree on that perception from listening to the two different shows?

Remember, though, that the new show is sponsored by Fan Duel and is being promoted as having a Fan Duel expert co-hosting the show with Mans.

That being said, I thought the RG show was also sponsored by FD.

Yeah, as long at that 5:00 show isn’t just another infomercial for their Playbook Pro, then guess it’s ok, even though I still prefer the content that was from the RotoGrinders Live show. I’ll admit I’ve subscribed in the past to their Playbook Pro to see what it was like, but in the end I found it was written by too many other people who in the end I wasn’t confident in their articles/lists based on how they performed.

    Hey Guys.

Thanks for all the kind words and for listening to the show. It’s definitely a bit frustrating to be going off the air weekdays, but we understand that NFL drives a lot of listenership this time of year.

We will be moving to Saturday nights (10-Midnight) for NFL talk starting next weekend & will be on earlier in the day starting in September (1-2 ET) on Thur/Fri/Saturday talking DFS MLB.

I was hoping they would bring us back in November and December for NBA talk from 6-7, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.

Sirius/XM has been a great platform and partner for us and we definitely look forward to contributing more content moving forward. Thanks for all the support.

Good deal. Is there still not enough demand for a CFB show on Saturday mornings in the fall? Has this been pitched to those who sign off on programming?

  • mrchuffy

Yeah I can’t stand most of the other hosts on the fantasy channel at SiriusXM…season long games just don’t have any appeal to me anymore. Thanks again for doing the show Dan, listened almost everyday.

I wonder where that one caller is going to get his top daily value plays and stacks from now.
