I stopped playing multi entry games a few years back because I noticed that I’m terrible at deciding which of my lineups is my best lineup.

So I just do the single entry and put all my eggs into one neat $12 basket. Things have worked out much better as a result.

yea I stopped the multi entry stuff and usually do ok on single entry games not so much lately…not getting 6 players through the cut but still have cashed with 4/6 and even one 3/6 with Cink, Higgs and can’t remember the 3rd guy?

I don’t think it’s foolish at all. What % you running Bryson?

Not sure yet but thinking at least 20% and potentially up to 40-50%. Just gotta decide if I want to swing for the fences with him (and of I can find enough value I like to fill more than 20% of my lineups).

I have not build a single lineup yet – still reying to eliminate guys from my pool and reviewing the course conditions and what people are saying and trying to take in as much practice round video as I can of the course.

8K golfer, less then 5% owned, 8th in strokes gained @ Augusta the last 5 years and 3 top 10’s at Augusta. Any interest in Mr. Casey ? He kind of flew under my radar until today…. Think someone i’m trying to fit in now

Please note that I play MMA, NFL and MLB successfully.

I truly have no idea what I’m doing with golf so this is my annual donation. 🤣

The one guy I already felt nervous about being underweight on was X and then I looked at LineupHQ and noticed he has the highest probability to win, top 5, top 10 and top 20 as well as the 2nd (behind JT) highest probability to make the cut (I have no idea what goes into these odds/who makes them).

    Shoot me now

X is consistent as can be but giving him the best odds to win when he’s never won a major is a bit of a stretch. I suspect he’ll have a Fowler type career. Often close, but never able to close it.

I thought there no chance that I would end up on Tiger, but at sub 4% ownership……

    I am only going with 11 LU’s.
I cant have everyone, and I assume that much of the thinking centers on the high salaries. I think most people will use 2 out of the top 7(going down to Brooks but could go farther).

If I make room to use a bunch of combinations I am already way over my 11 LU’s. I have several salaries in the 8K+ range I want to use and several 7K and less golfers I want.

The milly tickets determined my style of play. $220 worth of entries tix is a bit more than a dime, qtr, dollar MME. and the number of salaries I could use would also fill up a minimax. NO, lets get 2 LU’s to the top 1% of entries for a $20 loss and put a tourniquet on the bankroll hemorrhage.

the 100 entry Happy meal closed
the 20 entry 2nd happy meal is filled
and a third happy meal is now available.

Get into the CUP, Masters points are Doubled!!!!!

  • sfguy21

I only ever enter as many Lus as I have Milly tickets. This week I have 9 and I think thats going to be helpful in consolidating my picks, because part of my wants at least 10 with each of the top 7 guys.

Right now I’m looking at 2 w/ Bison, 3 with DJ, 2 with Rham, 2 with Rory and 1 with Brooks. He hasn’t been mentioned here much at all, but having 0 JT is scaring the crap out of me.

The person who noted earlier that that are only 95 (or are we down to 94?) gophers and 10 of them are almost guaranteed to miss the cut got my attention. I’ve been focused on getting 6/6s, perhaps overly so. For instance, I think Ian Poulter is more likely to make the cut than Justin Rose. (Rose MC’ed last year, and Poulter has done better over the last 10 weeks, too.)

But if Rose is back and makes the cut, his CH says he will score better and his salary means he will be lower-owned. I guess that’s why you were looking at him?

P.S. Reason why I’m taking another look: I have Matthew Fitzpatrick in almost have my lineups, and that seems a bit…hefty.

Does Jose even make it out for round 2 though? Sadly I was having a bit of a debate with myself earlier looking at CT Pan vs Couples lol

Every year it seems like Couples throws his name up on the leaderboard early, only to make some bogeys coming in and then he gets disinterested. I’d love him to throw a wrench in all of this with a first round 65.

According to sources, sharp money was placed on Reed, McIlroy, and Finau.
Public bets are high on Tiger, Spieth, and Wolff.
Biggest bet so far made at one sportsbook was on Mickelson to miss the cut (pays like +250).

Phil will show up with his aviators on and coast to a first round (-2) score. He knows where to miss here and he has the short game to make some magic happen. He is actually in one of my favorite lineups lol.

In my world this week 4 LUs and 4 Ian Poulters. Only guy I am all in with.

Why do you say that? (Not challenging you at all, more looking to understand what I might be missing in my model. It doesn’t like him this week.)

Yea I personally don’t see it this week or I obviously wouldn’t be underweight on him but I’d bet good money he wins 2-3 majors before he’s done

Damn, looks like I missed the boat on the bigger $100 SE tournament. I’ve got about $200 left to play with for this tournament. Any suggestions on best tournaments tot enter?

Re: the 12th – simply beautiful ! Hard to get a good seat at 12 tee as the seats are full all day because it’s a great spot to watch approaches come into 11 and tee shots off 12. I spent some time a couple days standing along 11 fairway (and close to 12 tee). Always funny to see pros bail out right on approach to 11 as they are so scared of the water on the left – weird to see as all we see on TV is guys weekly firing at pins.

Thanks BIF. I almost thought I was there.
