I posted a bunch of H2H’s at various price points for this weeks beat the forum in the league.

    I started out with

    15 – $1
    10 – $2
    10 – $3
    4 – $5
    2 – $10

I am coming off a 2/6 on a new course last week so this week will be free money if I do that again.

got in a $1 match. was 5/6 last week in cash. i thought playing sung kang was a safe bet. something was wrong with me.

1st time in the Happy Meal. I hope not to embarrass myself too badly

Gotta wait until some alternates join the field before building my lineups this week!

Back to Clark and Burns again for me if this is indeed another birdie fest. Like their prices, and it helps they were in my only winning lineup last week… Speaking of that, Gooch was great for 6800 last week but he was all putter.. not sure I trust him at his current price.

KH Lee and Merritt also look pretty cheap.

Happy Canada Day to ya BiF! (And any other Canadians!)

3M is an underappreciated company. They have their hands in everything

Duct tape is a man’s best friend…. along with baling wire anything can be held together. Even your golf game.

I think I’ve got a decent initial build put together but it’ll need some more detailed research and a few discussions to finalize. Mostly I’m pissed that Stanley withdrew because he would’ve rounded out the lineup perfectly

Yeah, that was unfortunate. Feel like he was really building on something and turning things around last week.

Stanley helped me win a GPP a couple years ago at the National around this time. Just for nostalgia I was prepared to go 100%

I also had Sung Kang last week who bit me. In my main lineup I also had Woodland, Dufner and Hoffman MC so it was a tough start. I usually build 3 lineups to max enter 3 entry GPP’s. I had 1 shot at a decent 6/6 but got hit late Friday when the cut moved to -5 and I lost Dufner and Harmen for a terrible week of 2/6, 2/6, & 4/6. Can only go up from there.

Interesting article from 2018 about this golf course.

Dufner F’d me last week also (so did Chez Reavie). Considering going back to Dufner this week though. His numbers recently have been great. Except for putting which has been atrocious but that’s gotta turn around right?

Good stuff there – I remember reading that a while back but it was worth a re-read with the tourney a couple days away

Any thoughts on Cam Davis for this one?

I ended up with 2 stars and 4 scrubs this week. The middle tier pricing was not enticing, which is odd because usually I end up more balanced. I am going back to the well with Jimmy Walker and Matsuyama, and playing three guys between 6.7-7.5.

Based on the Monday qualifying scores it looks like this will be another birdie fest but I guess they can move the pins around. So it’s probably a good week for going balanced – 6/6 should be more important. Wish I could take my own advice occasionally!

Definitely. I have my eye on a couple. Like last week I see myself with more under 7k than usual. Two Irish guys I rostered last year in that range I think I’ll be adding again.

  • lfn1992

Abe Ancer is at 8k for the Irish Open… Talk about intriguing.

FYI, the Monday qualifier was held at a different course in the Twin Cities so looking at those courses doesn’t mean much. However I do think the pros will best up this course since it hasn’t stopped raining here so the course will be wet. It is supposed to continue to rain all week with Sunday likely being the only dry day. The rain is looking to be the annoying kind where it is off and on all day and probably not enough to delay play. Makes me not as excited to be out there this week.

Just because the “holiday” DK has to lower their contest sizes?! Get your lineups in quick this week I guess!

It is disappointing how everything got reduced this week. I have decided to wait on using my $150 ticket so I can use it in a larger contest. So now I will likely smash this week.

Wonder when FD will add Redman to the pool?

My role at my current company involves working directly with giant brands in the scope of our market – I am on the global team and 3M is one of my projects, so I am on calls with a team there constantly. Exciting trips to the famed vacation destination of Minnesota.

I always look for the Pat Mayo link in here? Is there any easier way? Without subscribing to whatever it is that he does?

Follow him on Twitter is how I get it every week. He always has the link available for free there without having to do anything.

Yeah sorry to hear that. I get it to some extent but I think they overestimate the number of “casuals”. Let’s be honest the only DFS guys left are somewhat degenerates that just love sports that much!
