My suspicion is that he has access to the ownership percentages before lock, just like the employees did before they put an end to that.

Wasn’t Spieth in the top 3 in ownership for the Milly Maker? Yet he was on the winning lineup so if you had access to ownership projections in advance you would think Spieth would have been an easy fade this past week with his struggles over the last 3 years.

  • LionIrons

I’m letting it go. If it was any other screen name I probably wouldn’t have brought it up, but that’s a really suspicious coincidence.

I struggle to understand how that would help pick the best lineup?

It doesn’t help you pick the optimal lineup but it gives you an advantage to leverage plays against the field which increases your chances of hitting the 1st place spot alone. In the long run it is would be a fairly significant advantage for someone who has the ability to max enter every contest like this guy does.

Is this raising anyone else’s eyebrows? Results that are extremely far from typical over a six month period AND his name is an ode to the infamous poker superuser POTRIPPER. This seems really fishy.

I don’t know about the NFL wins but in the PGA Milly yesterday, he was very fortunate as most of his 150 lineups had guys who missed the cut (he had Day, Kooch and Garcia at 33-36% owned) and also only had Morikawa on 4/150 but that is all it takes to have the right 6 line up.

Of the 4 Morikawa lineups, the winning lineup was the only one to 6/6; the other three Morikawa lineups went 3/6, 4/6 and 5/6.

He won the milly twice, but also came 2nd twice and 6th once, all of that since December 15th.

It is suspicious, but if it’s legit, it gives us hope that it’s possible.

I am a professional poker player. and i thought that whole situation was insane. I was thinking to myself years ago. If someone were actually able to see whole cards that’s the name they would pick. I am a real person, obviously luck plays a big part in DFS.

That’s awesome! Enough to quit the day job yet? Also, first post on RG?

haha i am a professional poker player too and love it. But i love DFS more. SO not just yet. Too addicted. Can’t stop won’t stop!

  • Felixxberg

We’re all jealous! Hopefully it’s my turn next week!

  • BrianVT

It will never happen to me because I don’t have the balls to max enter one of those things, so no point playing the event at all. I just love the process and enjoy hitting my occasional 3-4 figure week. Maybe with enough of those, I’ll build up the courage to go after something big. Plenty of years to go (I hope).

What made you get on Kokrak? I;d just like to know. Part of the missing piece for me is pretty much that kind of play. What kind of thought went into him?

The model and projections that i used to generate all my lineups happened to give me 10% of him. I wasn’t really on him the randomness gave me him.

Thanks. I guess it makes sense that sometimes its just the randomness of it all is always at play.

Potripper was the screen name involved in a cheating scandal back in 2007. Not saying your him.

    Thanks for this Brian…..
    I feel the same way.

With BIF’s look at MR r1ppers LU’s I will look for his next weeks LU build. I am a bit intrigued. Its damned hard to win once but more than once with other placements. Its damn good DFS. I agree with Dunzor. Cheating is hard. circumnavigating the max entry, is a no no for me. I dont trust people and $$‘s. so splitting that much off the books is too risky. the only other way is inside info. So cheating is possible but sounds more like sour grapes or conspiracy theory.
